What you'll do As the Digital Marketing Lead - PPC at Sainsbury's, you will play a pivotal role in leading the activation and optimisation of performance marketing campaigns across various platforms including Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, SA360, Apple Search Ads, and Paid App marketing. Responsible for managing a substantial annual budget, you will drive strategic initiatives to enhance performance, innovation, and execution, focusing on specific categories such as Consumer electronics while supporting campaigns for the Argos brand. Your role will involve collaborating with internal stakeholders to align digital activation with commercial goals, overseeing campaign setup and execution, and working closely with offshore and in-house teams to ensure successful campaign delivery and alignment with business objectives. Who you are As the Digital Marketing Lead - PPC for Sainsbury ’ s, you are a seasoned professional with hands-on experience in digital performance marketing, particularly within the ecommerce, fashion, or retail sectors. You possess a deep understanding and practical knowledge of platforms such as Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, and SA360, and have a track record of successfully managing multi-million pound budgets and delivering against performance KPIs. Your strategic mindset, excellent communication skills, and ability to collaborate cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment enable you to drive innovative digital activation aligned with commercial goals, while continuously optimising campaigns through a 'test and learn' approach to achieve best-in-class execution and performance. Essential Criteria
Hands-on experience in digital performance marketing. A background in Ecommerce, fashion, or retail sectors. Deep knowledge of: Google Ads, Microsoft Ads and SA360. Proven success managing large budgets and delivering on KPIs. Strong experience of PPC.
