Overview

We're looking for a Digital Marketing Executive to join our team on a 12-month fixed term contract (maternity cover). This role would suit someone with a genuine interest in websites and digital marketing who already has some hands-on experience and wants to build on it. You'll get involved in a wide range of activity from keeping website content up-to-date, to publishing articles, reporting on campaigns, and managing social media posts. It's a practical role where you'll gain valuable experience and play an important part in delivering our digital marketing activity.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain website content so it is accurate, up-to-date and optimised for search.
  • Publish and update content using the website CMS.
  • Produce campaign and activity reports with insights and recommendations.
  • Plan, schedule, post and monitor social media activity.
  • Create and send email campaigns, including monthly newsletters.
  • Develop case studies and customer stories that bring our services to life.
  • Conduct competitor research and analysis to inform marketing activity.
  • Support customer research through surveys and focus groups.
  • Share marketing activity updates with other departments.
  • Provide general support to the Sales and Marketing team as required.

Qualifications

  • Genuine interest in digital marketing and websites, with a willingness to learn and develop skills further.
  • Experience creating digital content for web, email or social media.
  • Confident using a website CMS to edit, add and maintain content, ideally including landing pages.
  • Understanding of performance marketing, SEO and reporting.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and work effectively with colleagues across different teams.
  • Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Comfortable analysing results and using insights to improve activity.
