Role Overview: This is a full‑time hybrid role for a Digital Marketing Executive located in Launceston, where some remote work is acceptable. The Digital Marketing Executive will play a key role in planning, executing, and optimising multi‑channel campaigns across eCRM, paid social, search, and wider digital activity. They will be responsible for delivering data‑driven insights, managing customer journeys, and ensuring campaigns are aligned with brand objectives and business goals. The role also involves scheduling and monitoring content across social platforms, supporting influencer and affiliate activity, and collaborating with internal teams and external partners to deliver projects on time and within budget. With a proactive and creative mindset, the Digital Marketing Executive will bring fresh ideas, support continuous improvement, and contribute to the overall growth of the marketing function. Key Responsibilities: Data & Analysis:
Analysis digital performance against agreed goals, providing clear reports and insights, as well as actionable recommendations to improve overall digital performance. Stay up to date with digital marketing trends, tools and best practices, bringing fresh ideas to the team to support campaign development.
Digital Campaigns:
Develop and implement digital marketing campaigns based on SMART goals, ensuring objectives are clear, measurable, achievable, relevant, and time‑bound, with progress tracked and delivered on schedule. Plan and manage project timelines, collaborating with cross‑functional teams and external suppliers to ensure projects are executed on time, within budget, and according to specifications across various marketing channels/regions. Assist in the management of Google Ads activity, ensuring effective spend and performance.
eCRM Management:
Manage database growth strategies, including acquisition, retention and hygiene, while overseeing segmentation and targeting to maximise campaign performance. Plan, create and execute email marketing campaigns within the Dotdigital platform, aligning content with brand objectives to drive best‑in‑class engagement and sales metrics. Develop and optimise consumer journeys and automated workflows to enhance personalisation, improve conversion rates and deliver measurable ROI.
Social Media Management:
Use Hootsuite to schedule, publish and monitor social media content, ensuring consistency across platforms. Work with the Graphic Design & Content Lead to create engaging and compelling social media content that resonates with the target audience, supports campaign goals, adheres to brand guidelines and is suitable for the outlet. Execute and optimise paid social media campaigns, driving performance against key marketing objectives, and ensuring efficient use of budget to maximum ROI. Leverage influencer and affiliate partnerships to drive credibility and growth across social channels, working to identify and maintain strong relationships in this area.
Administration:
Provide administrative support, including minute‑taking during meetings, organising and filing documents, assisting with budget needs, and performing other tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the marketing function.
Required Skills & Experience:
2+ years’ experience in B2C digital marketing, with hands‑on management of eCRM campaigns via Dotdigital. Proven track record in planning, executing and optimising paid social campaigns on Meta platforms. Working knowledge of Google Ads, with experience supporting or managing paid search activity. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment. Proactive, curious and detail‑orientated, with the ability to work independently and think creatively. CIM qualification or marketing‑related degree. Understanding of SEO and website UX improvements. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience liaising cross functionally and with external parties. Practical experience using GA4.
