Job Details JOB BAND: C CONTRACT TYPE: Fixed-Term Contract, Part Time till 31/01/27 (28 Hours, Parental Leave) DEPARTMENT: BBC Children in Need LOCATION: Salford – Hybrid SALARY RANGE: £28,000 - £36,000 depending on relevant skills, knowledge and experience. Purpose of the Role BBC Children in Need believes that every child should have the chance to thrive and be the best they can be. Our digital marketing team helps enable this through our social, email and website channels. This Digital Marketing Executive role will lead on our year round storytelling content. They will be responsible for monitoring, planning and delivering consideration content year-round to boost understanding, love, trust and relevance amongst our audience. You will gain a wide range of experience including working with colleagues across consumer research, video production and editing, graphics production and social media engagement. You will be supported by our small and approachable digital marketing team in a creative and fun environment. Your Key Responsibilities And Impact
Management of inter-disciplinary project team to develop and manage a year round digital content calendar across web, social and email Turning our supporter insight, sector facts and statistics and the stories of children we support into creative digital marketing content in collaboration with in-house design and video production teams Website content creation and maintenance using Wordpress CMS Email content creation and send using DotDigital email marketing platform Social media content creation, scheduling, posting and community management across meta platforms, X, Linkedin and Youtube Project reporting using digital marketing reporting tools
Essential Criteria - Your Skills and Experience
Experience of website and email marketing platforms, such as Wordpress and Dotdigital or equivalents Experience of creating content, uploading and scheduling and managing a community on social platforms- Meta,X, Linked-In, Youtube, for a charity. Experience of taking a diverse range of source material (research, sector insight, statistics, individual's stories) and combining them into creative and engaging digital marketing content Experience of project managing a multi-disciplinary team within a charity organisation to develop and deliver a year long digital marketing content calendar to tight deadlines. Experience using insight and reporting tools (consumer research reports, web, email social analytic tools) to optimise marketing content.
