Diaspora Insurance is seeking a passionate, outgoing, and driven Digital Marketing and Social Media Executive to join their marketing team focusing on the East African communities in the UK (East Africa Corridor). You will be part of a dynamic and ambitious firm dedicated to making a significant impact on the African diaspora by managing their insurable risks.

Key Responsibilities

• Driving traffic to the website and generating leads.
• Developing and implementing digital marketing strategies across SEO, PPC, social media, influencer marketing, and email campaigns.
• Creating and managing digital and social media campaigns to generate leads.
• Executing SMS and email-based marketing campaigns.
• Conducting market analysis and intelligence gathering.
• Developing engaging online content including videos, scripts, graphics, infographics, web pages, ebooks, and blogs; monitoring content performance.
• Copywriting for adverts and scripts.
• Recruiting, managing, and tracking influencer collaborations.
• Optimizing website SEO to increase traffic.
• Tracking website analytics and providing regular reports.
• Implementing link-building and content marketing strategies, managing social media presence.
• Researching digital marketing trends and ensuring brand visibility.
• Managing third-party providers effectively.
• Attending events to create content.

The Person

• Degree in digital marketing, marketing, or sales from a reputable university.
• Passionate about marketing and eager to learn.
• Strong skills in social media, copywriting, and content marketing.
• Deep understanding of East African diaspora communities in the UK is a key advantage.
• Experience nurturing leads via email and other channels.
• Hands-on experience with social media advertising and promotions.
• Knowledge of keyword research.
• Experience in influencer management.
• Working knowledge of Google Analytics, Google Ads, and Google Suite.
• Website management skills, preferably with WordPress.
• Understanding of SEO principles.
