Join our dynamic UK Demand Generation team and play a pivotal role in driving our social media campaigns to new heights. This role will execute marketing campaigns on “always-on” social media channels to drive continued growth in acquisition volume and improvements in investment efficiency.

How will you make an impact in this role?

• Lead Paid Social Media marketing campaigns to support the growth of UK acquisition

• Work with multiple agencies and advertising platforms to optimize, influence, and obtain the strongest value and best outcomes for Amex, while maintaining attention to detail and governance.

• Maintain a pipeline of test-and-learn opportunities to create growth opportunities for the future, including scoping, testing and validating new channels. 

• Contribute to the acquisition strategy by identifying and proposing new insights

• Collaborate closely with stakeholders to develop and deploy targeting & bidding strategies, ad-tech capabilities, and creative messaging to excite and convert prospects

• Support forecasting, budgeting and performance analysis

Essential Skills:

• Proven track record in a marketing function, either in a media agency setting or within a marketing team, with subject-matter expertise in social media being a definite advantage

• Ability to work within a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment while retaining attention to detail over essential brand and compliance policies

• Solid understanding and experience of media planning and buying across online channels

• Good understanding of the creative development process

• Highly motivated, resilient, and proactive self-starter who can take initiative

• Proficiency in analysing data and pulling valuable insights

• Strong relationship management and interpersonal skills

• Attention to detail and organisational skills

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Creative and innovative thinker with the ability to challenge the status quo

• Comfortable working with agility and at pace, finding a way around obstacles and challenges effectively and with a positive attitude

• Conscientious team player who is ready to make their mark through a high profile role

Desired skills:

• Experience/confidence working with large advertising budgets

• Curiosity about the financial services industry and innovation in the digital marketing space
