This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with data, thrives in a collaborative environment, and wants to make a real difference.This role involves travelling to multiple locations in Oxfordshire, Gloucestershire or Northampton. Applicants must own their own vehicle and hold a full UK driving licence.As a Data Protection Consultant, you will support clients in providing advice and ongoing support on the implementation, management, and compliance with Data Protection legislation. You will conduct data protection audits to review existing data handling practice, identify gaps, and support schools to make progress. The role includes delivery of data protection training to upskill staff to ensure the safe use of data. The role is a full or part‑time remote field‑based role and may involve occasional travel to other company sites and schools (roughly 10 visits a year).What we’re looking forUnderstanding of current data protection legislation and/or willingness to increase knowledgeExperience working unsupervised, taking initiative and owning problems, solving them promptly where possibleAbility to keep accurate records and data in an organised and accessible mannerA careful and meticulous approach to case‑handling detailsExperience organising and planning workload, prioritising tasks to meet competing deadlinesKnowledge of the education environment would be advantageous but not essentialFull training will be provided, and Data Protection practitioner training can be considered for individuals wishing to improve their knowledge of data privacy and protection.BenefitsIn return, we offer a salary of between GBP28,000 – GBP32,000, business mileage, salary sacrifice pension scheme, a benefits & wellbeing hub including an electric car lease scheme, employee assistance programme, cycle & e‑bike scheme and an eye care voucher scheme.Why join us?We’re proud of our friendly, inclusive culture and commitment to professional growth.
