Customer Solutions Engineer, Marketing Solutions. This role will be based in London, United Kingdom. The LinkedIn API Program enables customers and partners to maximize their performance on LinkedIn and is a core part of how we plan to scale LinkedIn’s Marketing Solutions business into the future. We are looking for a Customer Solutions Engineer to support this Program globally with a focus on advertiser demand. You will operate as the connective tissue between LinkedIn Marketers, our Partner Platforms, and our API ecosystem, helping marketers grow their business through partner solutions or direct integrations. The work location is hybrid, performed both from home and from a LinkedIn office on select days as determined by business needs.

Responsibilities

  • Work with sales and partner teams to interpret customer requirements and deliver integrated solutions that drive end-customer success.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key strategic partners; build trust through your deep technical expertise of their platforms and customer needs.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales and Product teams to develop, manage and grow partner relationships with a focus on technical aspects (technical presentations, trainings, consultations, and best practices).
  • Be an expert on LinkedIn’s API capabilities and partner offerings from a technical lens; partner with sales teams to recommend partner solutions and deploy or advance successful customer integrations.
  • Advocate for API improvements with internal product and partner engineering teams that benefit end-customers; highlight issues, trends, and opportunities for integration enhancements.
  • Develop integration guides and best practices to accelerate API adoption, improve time to revenue and deliver a great customer experience.
  • Maintain subject matter expertise on marketing technology and API trends.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
  • 3+ years’ experience in troubleshooting technical issues in a client facing role and/or technical account management.
  • 3+ years working with AdTech/marketing technology platforms OR API partner and developer programs.
  • 1+ year experience with Marketing Technologies and knowledge of 1st party data collection
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative major, such as Marketing or Engineering
  • Comfortable operating with ambiguity and being proactive in finding solutions
  • Experience in Solutions Engineering or Technical Consulting is strongly preferred
  • Experience with conversion tracking methodologies (Server to Server integrations, container tags, conversion tags, etc).
  • Familiarity with development and API technologies, such as JavaScript and REST
  • Proficiency in online media, ad technology, marketing technology and API partner/developer programs
  • Proven track record of solving complex technical problems and delivering excellent customer experience
  • Strong interest in partner ecosystems and industry advances; ability to stay informed and innovate
  • Skilled in interacting with sales/partner business leads and technical stakeholders; ability to translate complex customer needs
  • Excellent communication and technical writing skills
  • Strong organizational and planning skills with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-growing environment
  • Enthusiastic, can-do attitude; enjoy working with customers to solve problems
