Social Media Executive – Consumer Brand | Manchester | Hybrid Working

Are you a creative and strategic social media professional ready to make an impact in a fast-growing consumer brand?

An exciting opportunity has opened up for a Social Media Executive to join a thriving Manchester-based business. Working alongside the Content & Social Media Manager, you’ll play a key role in growing and managing the brand’s presence across multiple platforms, creating engaging content, and building a loyal online community.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Deliver and execute social media strategies aligned with brand goals.
  • Manage daily posting schedules across Instagram, Pinterest, LinkedIn, TikTok, and more.
  • Create high-quality, engaging content – including imagery, video, and copy – with support from the creative team.
  • Be confident and natural in front of the camera for video and social content.
  • Engage with the online community by responding to comments, messages, and mentions.
  • Collaborate with influencers, brand ambassadors, and PR partners to amplify reach.
  • Monitor trends, insights, and analytics to optimise performance and inform future content.
  • Support SEO efforts through keyword research and optimised content creation.
  • Work with the paid media team to run campaigns that drive engagement and conversions.
  • Align social media activity with broader marketing campaigns and business goals.
  • Develop a strong understanding of the nursery industry, products, and brand identity.
  • Support trade accounts with weekly social media content and collaborate across departments.

What We’re Looking For

  • 2–4 years’ experience in social media management, ideally within B2C, retail, consumer products, or agency environments.
  • Strong understanding of platform-specific best practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Creative flair with a sharp eye for branding and aesthetics.
  • Experience with content creation tools (Canva knowledge is a plus).
  • Confident in front of the camera and comfortable creating video content.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and refine strategies.
  • Experience with influencer marketing and paid social campaigns is a bonus.
  • Basic SEO copywriting knowledge is desirable.

What’s On Offer

  • Salary: Up to £35k, depending on experience
  • Flexible working hours: Choose between 8–4, 9–5, or 10–6
  • Hybrid working: 1 day per week from home
