Motability Operations are currently recruiting for a Content Marketing Assistant to join our team in Bristol on a full-time, permanent basis. As a Content Marketing Assistant, you are vital to the marketing team's success by providing essential support as we develop our brand, campaigns, and initiatives.
This is an all-rounder role, as you'll be working across all elements of our team's marketing activity, delivering against a wide range of projects to directly support our division's targets for growth in customer base, driving engagement with our EV proposition, and further establishing our voice in the market.
Main Responsibilities
Campaigns & content
Working with the rest of the Content team on gathering information and formulating briefs, you'll deliver key elements of our campaigns to drive the successful outcomes of our campaign goals our departmental quarterly objectives, as well as our larger growth and EV strategies.
You'll work with the team to deliver against project requirements ideating concepts and creating content that help tell authentic stories to encourage for deployment across multiple channels,
Social Media
You'll assist the Senior Digital Acquisition Specialist (SDAS) in the development and delivery of our LinkedIn strategy, by analysing our engagement data, supporting the activation of our social campaigns, and gathering results.
Digital lead generation
You'll assist the team in developing new channels for digital lead acquisition that will attract prospects and move them through the funnel in the most effective way.
Research
You'll support the content and UX team deliver of the annual CSI, help grow the research panel and build ad-hoc surveys for stakeholders.
Events
Help the team deliver our events strategy, working on the practical aspects of setup along with the measurement and reporting.
Content Management
You'll manage the content on our help centre using our CMS tool Contentful, ensuring the content is up to date and correct. You'll also build email content in Salesforce Marketing Cloud and help with Storefront CMS deployment when needed.
Reporting
You'll help the Content team report on activity by regularly accessing and collating data, working with key members of VRM to deliver this.
Qualifications
You'll be well suited to this role if you:
Are highly motivated and keen to develop in the digital marketing space.
Are familiar with tools like email marketing software, social media platforms, CRM systems, and project management software (e.g., Canva) is essential.
Enjoy writing and can communicate ideas in an engaging and impactful way.
Have great people skills, you enjoy working as part of a team and can collaborate with many different people to deliver campaigns on time and to budget.
Are into being organized, methodical, with excellent time management abilities.
Are comfortable context-switching and balancing multiple activities and priorities simultaneously.
Use your curiosity and initiative to solve problems, overcome obstacles, and complete projects.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, making decisions, and acting on own initiative, adapting to change and new challenges as needed.
Like looking for new and better ways of doing things.
Minimum criteria:
A degree (preferably in marketing, though not essential) or equivalent relevant experience.
A keen interest in brand communications, storytelling and digital marketing.
Effective communication skills both written and verbal, with excellent attention to detail.
An enthusiastic 'can do' attitude, passionate about your personal and professional development.
Excellent time management and multitasking skills - these are essential.
