Bradford District Care NHS Foundation Trust provides award-winning community, mental health, learning disability and children’s services across Bradford, Airedale, Wharfedale and Craven, as well as providing children’s services in Wakefield. We are continually looking to improve our services to connect people with the best quality care, and to ensure staff have the best place to work. The Trust’s communications and marketing team has a key role in promoting the organisation’s services to a broad range of internal and external stakeholders. We are looking for a Communications and Marketing Assistant to join our award-winning team. This role supports the communications team in building the Trust’s reputation, working with colleagues and partners to meet Trust and district-wide objectives. You will be part of a small, dynamic team delivering broad-based communications and marketing activity across a range of areas, including campaigns. The role is a great opportunity for someone already working in a communications function with strengths in digital media who is ready to step up to the next level. We are normally based in the Trust’s HQ in Saltaire, but we are currently home working with frequent video catch-ups to stay connected.

Responsibilities

  • Support the communications and marketing team in promoting Bradford District Care NHS Foundation Trust’s services to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Contribute to a range of communications and marketing activity, including campaigns.
  • Apply strengths in digital media and work with colleagues and partners to meet Trust and district-wide objectives.
  • Collaborate in a small, dynamic team to deliver broad-based communications work.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Experience in a communications function; strong emphasis on digital media.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and adapt to a fast-paced environment.

Working Arrangements

Normally based in the Trust’s HQ in Saltaire; currently home working with video catch-ups as needed.
