We deliver personalised, face-to-face financial advice to our clients, who trust us to manage their money to reach their goals.The Client, Communications and Marketing Graduate Programme:Assessment Centre: Wednesday 10 December 2025The Client, Communications and Marketing Graduate Programme within our Client Communications and Marketing (CCM) Function is a one-year programme and offers an excellent grounding in the fundamental principles of corporate marketing and communications. The role of the CCM Function at St James’s Place is to connect, inform and engage our Partnership (Financial Advisers), employees, and clients with SJP.Based in our offices in London, you will be working within our Function’s business management team to support the senior leadership with projects ranging from Content or Digital Marketing to Social Media to Digital Communication Channels. This is a fantastic opportunity to understand the breadth of our communications and marketing strategy and operations within one of the UK’s largest wealth management organisations.All graduate positions are offered on a permanent contract. Upon successful completion of the programme, this individual will continue their career within the Client, Communications and Marketing Function, equipped with the experience and insight gained throughout the Graduate Programme.Key responsibilities:Collaborating with the CCM Senior Leadership Team to provide support across a variety of projects, assisting with priority tasks as they arise, and adapting to evolving needsBuild key relationships with all aspects of the CCCM Function, at all levels and foster relationships with employees across our business.Work closely with Senior Leadership team and the Business Manager to monitor delivery on the Function’s key priorities. Build an understanding of the business of running a Function such as reporting, invoicing, budgeting, diary management, risk and governance and supporting on audit actionsData analysis and visualisation in PowerPoint, Excel and Power BI and making recommendations to Senior Leaders distilling complex information in an easy-to-understand formatSupporting with board and senior level reports on Client Communications and Marketing related mattersAssist with the creation and distribution of Function-wide communicationsManage time effectively, often balancing competing priorities and able to make informed decisionsWhat we’re looking for:Relevant degree in either Marketing or CommunicationsMinimum Grade 7 (or grade A) at Mathematics GCSE or equivalentComfortable with large amounts of data and able to analyse and present data in an easy to digest formatExcellent analytical and problem solving skillsExcellent interpersonal skills; high levels of emotional intelligence, actively listens and is able to adapt communication styleComfortable and confident presenting to senior stakeholdersSpecial Requirements:You will be required in the office a minimum of three days per week and also will be required to travel regularly to our other offices around the UK, specifically Cirencester in Gloucestershire where the majority of our Function is currently based.Please note that at present, this programme does not meet the minimum salary thresholds required for skilled worker visa sponsorship under the UK Home Office guidelines. As a result, we’re unable to accept applications from those requiring visa sponsorship.
