We’re representing an exciting high-growth fintech start-up in the proprietary trading and financial technology space. Backed by cutting-edge tech and ambitious growth plans, the company is redefining access to trading by combining innovation, speed, and global reach.

With a strong foundation already in place, they’re now seeking a Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) to lead their marketing function and play a pivotal role in scaling the brand, driving go-to-market strategies, and supporting international expansion.

The Role

This is a strategic and hands-on leadership role for an experienced marketing leader who thrives in fast-paced start-up environments. The CMO will be responsible for building and executing the global marketing strategy, shaping the brand narrative, and delivering campaigns that drive growth, community, and awareness across multiple markets.

You’ll work closely with the leadership team to define and execute go-to-market (GTM) strategies, position the business as a leading player in the fintech and trading space, and manage a growing marketing team.

  • Define and deliver the company’s global marketing strategy aligned with growth objectives
  • Lead go-to-market plans for new products, markets, and partnerships
  • Build and strengthen the brand identity, ensuring consistency across channels
  • Oversee all areas of marketing: brand, digital, performance, content, PR, events, and community engagement
  • Manage and grow a high-performing marketing team, providing strategic direction and mentorship
  • Collaborate closely with product, sales, and operations to ensure marketing is fully integrated into business objectives
  • Own the marketing budget and measure ROI across all campaigns and activities
  • Represent the business externally at events, conferences, and through thought leadership
  • Proven track record as a senior marketing leader, ideally at CMO, VP Marketing, or Marketing Director level
  • Significant experience in start-up and scale-up fintech environments
  • Strong background in go-to-market strategy, brand development, and international expansion
  • Skilled at managing complex multi-channel campaigns with measurable results
  • Experience leading and scaling a marketing team, with strong people management skills
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to execute – comfortable rolling up sleeves in a hands-on capacity
  • Excellent collaboration skills – able to work cross-functionally with leadership, sales, and product teams
  • Passionate about fintech, innovation, and building brands in disruptive industries
