Base pay range: Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) — Healthtech | Board Level | Up to £115k + Bonus. This range is provided by Spotlight Recruitment. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.

Our client is one of the fastest-growing healthtech groups in the UK, focused on disrupting the industry with a truly agile consumer provision. Their vision for a new CMO is to create a market leading brand. They are building a new kind of health brand — and this is where you come in. This role is 3 days each week in central London and offers bonus, healthcare, pension and other benefits.

Reporting directly to the CEO and sitting on the Board of Directors, the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) will shape, lead, and deliver the group’s marketing strategy alongside a small but growing team of Marketers. This is a pivotal role in scaling reputation, brand, and growth. A curious and creative Marketer is essential, as you will be launching podcasts, achieving fast-growth across social media, thought leadership, content strategy and PR.

You’ll balance strategy and execution — from brand, PR, and performance marketing, to building the infrastructure, systems, and team needed to scale one of the UK’s most ambitious healthtech groups. They are looking for unique creative ability, someone ideas focused who can elevate the brand as they move through their journey of growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver a group-wide marketing strategy aligned with ambitious growth goals.
  • Build and embed a unified brand story across all subsidiaries.
  • Lead on digital and performance marketing (paid, SEO, CRM, automation, content).
  • Drive campaigns that fuel lead generation, patient acquisition, and retention.
  • Manage PR, external agencies, and partnerships with NHS, corporates, and patient communities.
  • Lead and inspire a growing in-house marketing team.
  • Report to the Board on marketing KPIs.

About You

  • Proven track record in a senior marketing leadership role (healthtech/ fast-growth scale-up experience highly desirable).
  • Strong experience in both brand marketing and performance marketing.
  • Skilled in PR, digital channels, and marketing technology platforms.
  • Data-driven, financially astute, and results-focused.
  • An ambitious, creative leader who thrives in a fast-paced, disruptive environment.
