OverviewWe are looking for a highly skilled and data-driven Sponsored Ads & DSP Specialist to lead and optimize Amazon advertising initiatives across Sponsored Ads and Demand-Side Platform (DSP) for the full Sandisk product portfolio on Amazon EU, with a focus on France, Italy, Spain, and emerging marketplaces. This role requires staying current with Amazon’s evolving paid search and advertising console features, while demonstrating advanced expertise in data analysis, reporting, and digital tool management. A strong working knowledge of Amazon Marketing Cloud (AMC) is essential, including the ability to write SQL queries to extract insights, drive performance, and scale campaigns effectively.This role is business oriented, working comfortably with cross functional teams (sales, channel marketing, product marketing, etc). Will report to Digital Marketing Manager Europe. Domestic and international travel may be required.ResponsibilitiesImplement and maintain multiple Amazon Sponsored Ads and DSP campaigns (SP, SB, SD) across various EU marketplaces, focusing on driving brand growth, traffic, and sales for a diverse product portfolio.Conduct in-depth keyword research to identify high- and low-performing keywords, analyze CTR trends, and develop competitive conquesting strategies where appropriate.Collaborate closely with Amazon account managers to gather market insights and keyword recommendations that inform campaign strategy.Forecast, monitor, and optimize budgets, reallocating spending across campaigns to maximize profitability and return on ad spend (ROAS).Lead weekly performance reviews, analyze campaign data, and produce monthly and quarterly presentations for sales and marketing teams, including spend vs. sales analysis and strategic recommendations.Own the strategy, planning, and execution of Amazon DSP campaigns, ensuring alignment with brand objectives and performance goals.AMC (Amazon Marketing Cloud)Build custom AMC queries to extract actionable data, manage audience segmentation and target using AMC insights and deliver insightful reporting and campaign analysis.Stay updated on the latest platform changes and best practices.Digital ToolsAutomate data generation and cleaning processes to streamline market research and enhance team efficiency.Build and maintain dashboards that monitor key performance indicators and track selling performance across different retail channels and product types.Analyze e-commerce data to provide insights into market trends, consumer demographics, and competitor activities.Develop data-backed strategies to guide resource allocation and improve marketing campaigns.QualificationsMust Have: A strong knowledge of Amazon paid search and programmatic ecosystem with a clear understanding of key performance indicators (KPIs)Proven experience running and optimizing Amazon CPC and DSP campaignsStrong hands-on experience with Amazon Marketing Cloud (AMC), including SQL proficiency and the ability to create custom queries to extract insights and optimize campaign performanceAn analytical and inquisitive mindset with the ability to turn complex data into clear insightsSkills & QualificationsEnglish Excellent oral and written communication skillsAbility to build and nurture strong cross functional team relationshipsAbility to multi-task, prioritise and meet deadlines and work well in a team settingRequired Experience & Skills4-6 years’ experience with Amazon Advertising is essential (SP/SB/SD, DSP, AMC)Experience of the media planning with programmatic advertising technologies is an advantageDemonstrated ability to deliver revenue growth at target ACOS/ROASExperience managing ad budgetsStrong skills in Excel/Sheets (pivots/lookups)Proficiency in campaign management tools and rank/SEO tools such as Pacvue, Stackline and GFKProven strong data interrogation and analytics skills and ability to turn data into actionable insightsExperience working for an Amazon Agency, retailer, or Amazon seller – desirableAdditional foreign languages are also an advantageAdditional InformationSandisk thrives on the power and potential of diversity.
