JOB TITLE: Category Manager - Third Party Operations - IT, Marketing & HR

The COMPANY

Our client is a well-established not for profit trust. They are now one of the UK's largest organisations in their field employing over 4000 people. Our client is looking for a Category Manager - Third Party Operations (IT, Marketing & HR) to make a strategically important contribution to the business.

Responsibilities

• Drive implementation and continually review procurement strategy in IT, Marketing & HR
• Develop supplier relationships
• Optimises value and manages risk within the category
• Educate stakeholders and promote best practice procurement

This is hybrid position.

Candidate profile / Qualifications

• Our client is looking for a professional Category Manager - Third Party Operations (IT, Marketing & HR) candidate with solid experience of end-to-end Category Management including:
• Strategy development
• Tendering
• Commercial and contract negotiations
• Supplier relationship management
• Knowledge of key commercial contract risks and opportunities
• Experience of IT, Marketing & HR
• Strong background in procurement/purchasing/buying roles
• Good level of education

Salary

SALARY: GBP55-60,000 Depending on experience
