The COMPANY
Our client is a well-established not for profit trust. They are now one of the UK's largest organisations in their field employing over 4000 people. Our client is looking for a Category Manager - Third Party Operations (IT, Marketing & HR) to make a strategically important contribution to the business.
Responsibilities
- Drive implementation and continually review procurement strategy in IT, Marketing & HR
- Develop supplier relationships
- Optimises value and manages risk within the category
- Educate stakeholders and promote best practice procurement
This is hybrid position.
Candidate profile / Qualifications
- Our client is looking for a professional Category Manager - Third Party Operations (IT, Marketing & HR) candidate with solid experience of end-to-end Category Management including:
- Strategy development
- Tendering
- Commercial and contract negotiations
- Supplier relationship management
- Knowledge of key commercial contract risks and opportunities
- Experience of IT, Marketing & HR
- Strong background in procurement/purchasing/buying roles
- Good level of education
Salary
SALARY: GBP55-60,000 Depending on experience
