Our client is a well-established not for profit trust. They are now one of the UK's largest organisations in their field employing over 4000 people. Our client is looking for a Category Manager - Third Party Operations (IT, Marketing & HR) to make a strategically important contribution to the business.
The ROLE
The Category Manager - Third Party Operations (IT, Marketing & HR)
will be required to:
* Drive implementation and continually review procurement strategy in IT, Marketing & HR
* Develop supplier relationships
* Optimises value and manages risk within the category
* Educate stakeholders and promote best practice procurement
This is hybrid position.
The CANDIDATE
Our client is looking for a professional Category Manager - Third Party Operations (IT, Marketing & HR) candidate with solid experience of end-to-end Category Management including:
* Strategy development
* Tendering
* Commercial and contract negotiations
* Supplier relationship management
* Knowledge of key commercial contract risks and opportunities
* Experience of IT, Marketing & HR
* Strong background in procurement/purchasing/buying roles
* Good level of education
SALARY: £55-60,000 Depending on experience
