About the Role

As a General Procurement Buyer, you’ll hold responsibility for the Sales & Marketing categories, partnering with some of the most influential stakeholders in the business. From creative agencies and digital marketing to trade activations, POS and promotional items, you’ll be at the heart of shaping how this household-name brand engages consumers across the UK & Ireland.

You’ll bring group-wide procurement strategies to life at a local level, negotiate impactful deals, and unlock added value that goes far beyond cost savings. What you’ll be doing

• Own and lead the Sales & Marketing procurement categories, ensuring spend is optimised and supplier partnerships are delivering maximum impact.
• Manage end-to-end sourcing projects—tenders, negotiations, contracting, and supplier onboarding—with pace, precision, and influence.
• Build close, exclusive relationships with marketing, sales, and commercial leaders, becoming their go-to partner for strategy, execution, and value delivery.
• Identify opportunities to unlock savings, drive continuous improvement, and deliver added value such as free media space or innovative campaign partnerships.
• Monitor supplier performance through structured reviews and scorecards, ensuring every partner is delivering against agreed KPIs.
• Act as the connector between global procurement priorities and local execution, making sure UK&I activity is always aligned, compliant, and commercially strong.

Who we’re looking for

We’re seeking someone who thrives in fast-paced, high-impact environments and has a proven track record of managing Sales & Marketing procurement categories. You’ll know how to navigate relationships with creative agencies, digital partners, and marketing suppliers and you’ll have the commercial instincts to influence big decisions.

You’ll bring:

• End-to-end experience in running tenders, managing contracts, and negotiating complex deals.
• A track record of validated cost savings, added value wins, and strong project delivery.
• Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft tools (Excel, PowerPoint).
• Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the credibility to influence senior leaders across functions.
• Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication abilities, paired with a growth mindset and urgency to deliver results.
