OverviewThe Brain Tumour Charity is seeking a proactive and collaborative marketing professional to join the Brand & Marketing Team. You will lead and support bold campaigns and communications, work closely with internal teams and external partners, ensure brand consistency, and contribute to micro-fundraising and brand development. Location: Fleet, Hampshire (blended office and home working with 2-3 days in the office per week). Working hours: 37.5 per week, with some out-of-hours work. Salary: c. £33,350 (dependent on level).Strong communication and organisational skills are essential. You will manage multiple projects, adapt to changing priorities, and develop innovative approaches to connect with diverse audiences while keeping our mission and values at the heart of your work.ResponsibilitiesWork with channel owners to develop and execute communications plans and projectsAct as the marketing lead/link between the marketing team and the wider charity, ensuring projects are briefed and delivered on time and to budgetCollaborate with internal content teams and external freelancers to produce assets to brief and on timeMonitor the communications inbox to ensure messages reach their intended destinationSupport the Brand & Marketing Team in implementing a new account management process within the wider marketing teamDevelop the marketing team’s internal communications to keep the wider team informed of updates, projects and trendsDevelop the approach to micro-fundraising awareness days with digital and creative teamsSupport the Brand & Marketing team to deliver and monitor key projects, including the brand development programmeAct as a brand guardian, ensuring assets and output comply with brand guidelinesDevelop key relationships with stakeholders across The CharitySupport brand tracking and monitoring, including scoping tools and key metricsAssist with the delivery of brand marketing campaignsContribute to achieving The Brain Tumour Charity objectivesRepresent The Charity at external events in a professional mannerAdhere to The Charity’s policies, procedures and working practices; ensure records are held in compliance with GDPRExperienceDeveloping and implementing campaigns or communications projectsExperience in analysing project success using a variety of toolsExperience working within an in-house marketing team or marketing agencyAccount management experience would be beneficialExperience acting as a brand ambassador with consistency across audiences and platformsCharity experience is not essential, but demonstrable experience working with people with lived experience is beneficialKnowledge, Skills & AbilitiesUnderstanding of marketing techniques and disciplines across the marketing mixStrong project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple pieces of work and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentStrong written and verbal communication skills; able to adapt to various stakeholders and platformsConfident across multiple channels including social media, email marketing, and traditional mediaExcellent organisational, interpersonal and time management skillsConfidence in presenting or representing an organisation externallySensitivity and tact when dealing with people with lived experienceTeam player willing to work flexibly to meet the charity’s needsNote: responsibilities are not exhaustive and may evolve over timeBenefits and inclusionWe are a collaborative, bold and innovative team that puts our community first and is committed to promoting diversity and inclusion.
