We encourage applications from anyone with an interest in developing a career in marketing, ideally with previous marketing education/qualifications &/or practical experience.Ultimately, the purpose of this role is to support the Brand Marketing Department at Beko UK & ROI - the home of leading household appliance brands including Beko, Hotpoint, Indesit, Whirlpool, Blomberg & Leisure – across a wide range of brand & digital marketing activities, helping to build brand health across the portfolio & drive commercial performance.The successful candidate’s personal development is of equal importance, as this role provides opportunities to gain experience and work with your line manager to focus on areas of interest within the scope of the role that will fuel future development within the marketing industry.Therefore, the Brand Marketing Executive / Intern role is ideal for aspiring marketers with a positive mindset and a can-do attitude. You will work within a fast-paced & results-driven marketing department, supporting the team in delivering marketing plans, collaborating with trade, product & commercial teams, and acting as a brand guardian to ensure communications support brand growth and align with brand & corporate guidelines. ResponsibilitiesTo support the Brand & Digital Marketing Team in developing & implementing marketing campaigns & projects, contributing to creative ideation & content development (e.g., delivering marketing campaigns, content & digital asset development, competitor analysis, brand events & exhibitions).To support the creation, development & implementation of brand marketing materials, working with the wider team to deliver against approved brand plans; liaising with internal departments (e.g., Product Management & Trade Marketing, Commercial) & external agencies with attention to detail & creative consistency.To conduct monthly content & competitor audits to assess & recommend where we can improve content & CX across our digital estate, and review key competitor brand activity – working with the Media Agency – to create internal reports with actionable insight.To act as a first contact point for internal & cross-functional enquiries, helping to assess which team member is best placed to support, and to assist with a wide variety of tasks as required.To support the management of consumer promotions across multiple brands, liaising with fulfilment partners to deliver a seamless consumer experience & robust reporting.To own team meeting planning for the Brand & Digital Team including agenda development & meeting facilitation, working with the Head of Brand & Digital.To support the wider marketing team with preparing presentations for brand initiatives, with the opportunity to present at internal events to build presentation skills.To support the wider team with finance administration & data management, including raising PO’s, liaising with finance teams to track approvals & inputting into budget management tools & documents, maintaining complex Excel documents to monitor & track KPIs.Please note: This job description is not exhaustive; other duties may be allocated or undertaken by the successful candidate, which equally offers more opportunities for personal development. Experience & EducationIdeal but not essential:A marketing or related degree OR equivalent professional qualifications (e.g., CIM, MMBA)Strong numerical skills and written English.Minimum:A genuine and demonstrable passion for marketing.A desire to develop and build a marketing career by gaining hands-on, professional experience.A basic understanding of the role of marketing within a large matrix organisation. SkillsAttention to detail; good analytical skills, ability to handle data and strong written English.Strong communication skills: confident and able to build positive working relationships, to communicate needs and to influence colleagues / stakeholders.Comfortable with multi-tasking and balancing workload whilst remaining flexible, to best support macro progress and changing priorities.Open mind and keenness to learn through doing.Pro-active contributor, with ability to work autonomously & using initiative.Demonstrable experience in assessing and analysing data to make actionable recommendations.Experience using Excel, PowerPoint, Word & AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT).
