We can be flexible on where the role holder is based, within the UK. However, there will be a minimum requirement of 2x days per week in our Milton Keynes office.
bp’s Retail business (Mobility and Convenience) is the shop window for our brand in the UK, with over 1,140 forecourts—approximately 300 company-owned and 840 dealer-operated sites—serving private motorists and fleets alike. As the world transitions to low-carbon fuel, bp future-proofs our brand by offering fuel, food and drinks on the go or for later enjoyment.
About the role
In this pivotal position, you will serve as the UK B2B Marketing Manager, driving strategic marketing initiatives across both fleet and dealer channels. You’ll support the delivery of over 3.5 billion litres of fuel annually and fuel the growth of our WBC franchise and fleet partnerships. Reporting into the UK Marketing team, you’ll collaborate with Sales, global marketing and our India-based marketing hub to create and implement region-specific plans that accelerate commercial growth and enhance customer experiences.
What you will do
- Define and articulate a clear customer-funnel marketing strategy for fleet and dealer segments
- Plan and deliver a 12-month marketing roadmap aligned to commercial goals, improving paid, owned and experiential channels
- Support customer offers and service marketing across brand awareness, thought leadership and lead generation
- Develop and complete dealer and distributor activations to develop long-term growth and service excellence
- Design and optimize CRM journeys for fleet segments, prioritizing reporting, testing and campaign efficiency
- Adapt global toolkits, digital assets and creative content for local market relevance
- Lead and optimize digital experiences and CRM to deliver consistent, customer-centric engagement
- Coordinate multi-million-pound marketing budgets; analyse spend and campaign performance to refine value.
- Champion innovation through A/B testing, process improvements and new ideas to boost customer and dealer impact
- Ensure all marketing activities align with local regulatory, tax and language standards
- Drive adoption of shared assets and tools via our India-based marketing hub, meeting and exceeding SLA targets
What you will need to be successful
- Proven B2B marketing expertise in fleet or partner management, sales enablement or related roles within a multinational, matrixed organisation
- Strong analytical and project management skills, with a track record of delivering data-driven, impactful campaigns
- Excellent collaboration and communication abilities to engage cross-functional teams, dealers and fleet partners.
- Proficiency in digital marketing, CRM (Salesforce preferred), lead generation and customer-journey management
- Demonstrated experience planning and performing large-scale events and multi-level hospitality programmes
- Customer-first mindset, adaptable approach and sound judgment in tackling complex challenges
- Deep understanding of the B2B sector, market dynamics, customer needs and competitor landscape
- Experience managing multi-million-pound budgets and leading creative and media agencies
- Strong analytical reporting skills and the ability to translate insights into action
- Exceptional stakeholder management, influencing and relationship-building capabilities
- Expertise in acquisition and retention strategies, customer-journey mapping, offer development and content localisation
