OverviewAVP, Marketing, Savings & Retirement role within Client Solutions supporting the Savings & Retirement Line of Business to achieve branding and growth targets. You will work closely with the global Client Solutions team to build an understanding of each market and product, and provide strategic guidance and support to the business. You will drive Pacific Life Re’s brand in collaboration with Pacific Life, developing a well-considered marketing strategy that accounts for the various markets in which PL Re operates. You will be a highly skilled content creator, experienced in developing professional communications materials/collateral and external messaging across a variety of mediums and channels.ResponsibilitiesMarketing brand/strategy: take ownership of the marketing strategy for S&R, including collaboration with Client Solutions to develop a target brand in each market and execute a tailored marketing strategy for each market segment.Lead the Marketing team to execute the strategy, ensuring plans are socialised and Client Solutions teams are engaged and aligned with market characteristics.Propose and monitor the budget to implement strategies and produce collateral.Marketing collateral and events: lead the Marketing team and support Client Solutions to develop impactful collateral aligned with the target brand and strategy for distribution via email, websites, LinkedIn, and other channels; encourage presenting engagements and other appropriate mediums.Support Client Solutions with advice on delivering key client pitches or papers with impact.Lead the calendar of events with Client Solutions teams, representing the brand and delivering optimum ROI; coordinate with Marketing, office managers and PAs to execute events.Develop engagement metrics to assess content impact.Supporting the Enterprise Marketing Function: ensure clear communication between PL Re Marketing and Pacific Life Marketing, acting as a conduit between teams.Involvement in scoping and supporting enterprise marketing projects (e.g., branding, websites) as needed.Coordinate with Marketing for the Protection Line of Business to ensure coordinated approach and clear roles and responsibilities.Driving insight on the client portfolio: own the CRM for S&R, drive adoption and ongoing use to maximize value, monitor adoption and usage.Support project work as appropriate and assist Client Solutions teams in designing and developing client surveys consistently across the business.Marketing team leadership: with guidance from the MVP, Client Solutions, set a vision for the Marketing team and translate into objectives and plans for team members.Support the development of team members through ongoing coaching and development with stretch goals aligned to company objectives.Prioritise objectives and plans to maximise opportunities to achieve KPIs.Skills/KnowledgeDegree qualified or equivalent experience in marketing, external communications, journalism or public relations.3+ years of experience in content marketing for a global company with understanding of business priorities and drivers.Experience using technology and digital communications channels to enable client engagement.Basic knowledge of insurance products, especially life and health insurance, is preferable.Required experience and attributesExcellent writing and editing skills focused on clarity, tone, and audience relevance.Creative thinker who can develop and implement ideas aligned with Corporate Identity and Principles.Ability to form strong relationships with leadership and peers and work effectively across a matrix organization.Strong interpersonal skills and a good presenter able to make recommendations with gravitas and inspire confidence in others.Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.Highly organised with the ability to multi-task.Ability to influence stakeholders and build trusted relationships.High level of personal enthusiasm and self-motivation.Working For Pacific Life ReWe value the unique qualities each person brings and support their expertise and ambitions.
