Ref No: 2259.Module to be taughtServices Marketing27 hours, teaching on Thursdays 6-7.30pm and 7.30-9pmSummer Term, April - August 2026This module introduces students to services marketing across both professional practice and academic contexts. Assuming a foundation in the principles of marketing, it provides an overview of the theory and practice of services marketing. Students will test the validity of concepts and analytical frameworks by applying them to real-world case studies of service providers.ResponsibilitiesLead the weekly in-person sessions, designed to be interactive rather than lecture-based, with a focus on exercises and problem-solving.Deliver weekly classes and contribute to module materials; there is scope to revise and enhance them, but this is not a requirement.Mark assignments.Coordinate with the Module Convenor for ongoing support and supervision.Requirements / QualificationsPossess sound knowledge of marketing and statistics for analytics.Demonstrate a commitment to student learning and academic development.Ability to engage students actively in interactive sessions.Remuneration & ContractPayment is based on an hourly rate depending on length of continuous service with the College (starting rate £69.68 per hour inclusive of pro-rata London Allowance and holiday pay) for contact hours worked. This rate is at Grade 7 and includes a ‘Duties Related to Teaching Multiplier’ of 2.5, which covers preparation, teaching, administration, assessment, marking and other examining duties in connection with the course.Contract: Fixed-term, April - August 2026, part-time.
