Role at a glance
As the Assistant Brand and Creative Manager, you will report to the Brand Manager and support the brand team to create, develop, and cascade core brand and seasonal campaign assets. This includes brand and event creative guidelines, key campaigns, in-store imagery, and other exciting projects. You will help maintain the Superdrug brand, deliver a consistent customer message, enhance the store environment, and optimise for online channels (O+O) to retain and attract customers in line with business strategy.
Responsibilities
Brand
- Assist the Brand Manager with developing and maintaining brand guidelines that reflect brand values and deliver a recognisable, consistent message for all marketing activity, media, and applications.
- Act as a brand guardian, communicating guidelines to internal and external stakeholders to ensure a consistent look and feel in-store and online.
- Manage and maintain the supplier tagging sign-off process, maximizing exposure while adhering to guidelines.
- Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Undertake special and tactical projects as required.
Creative & Campaign
- Oversee the creation of event creative guidelines within the customer calendar, from briefing to execution and handover to stakeholders.
- Expertise in briefing, including event/theme direction, objectives, KPIs, brand and creative examples, trends/insights, and clear deliverables for agencies.
- Assist with the creative process for Superdrug brand shoots (lifestyle & product) ensuring imagery adheres to brand guidelines and values.
- Host cross-functional meetings to share information, review campaign execution, and align on objectives and timings.
- Keep up with design trends and explore inclusive, accessible ways to communicate with customers.
- Ensure clear communication across the business to translate marketing strategy across all media.
- Collaborate with Buying and Finance to evaluate ROI and identify opportunities for future creatives.
- Conduct seasonal competitor reviews and report to key stakeholders.
- Manage budgets and timescales as agreed.
Event Management
- Manage the annual Supplier conference from start to finish, with support from the Brand Manager and wider marketing team.
- Collaborate with the event agency to source venues and accommodations, manage invitations, and oversee attendee lists.
- Lead event styling (AV, décor, staging) and coordinate the brand room with stakeholders for face-to-face time with suppliers.
- Provide weekly updates to the internal executive team and work closely with Marketing and Trading Director.
- Co-own high-profile events, such as The Star Awards.

Requirements
What you’ll need
2+ years’ experience in marketing, creative or similar field. A degree in a creative or business field is valuable. You will understand core marketing principles and have experience writing comprehensive briefs.

What you’ll need

Hours: 37.5 | 9:00am - 5:30pm. Hybrid working available depending on role responsibilities.
