ALUMNI COMMS AND DIGITAL MARKETING COORDINATOR
We are seeking a talented and motivated communications and digital marketing professional to join a leading London university on a temporary basis. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to impactful engagement initiatives, manage dynamic digital campaigns, and play a key role in strengthening connections with the university’s global community.
ALUMNI COMMS AND DIGITAL MARKETING COORDINATOR ROLE:
Delivering engaging email campaigns, including newsletters and targeted communications, ensuring content aligns with brand tone and guidelines
Coordinating a cross-team email schedule and providing proofreading, editing, and style advice to colleagues
Maintaining and updating alumni web pages, ensuring content is accurate, attractive, and user-friendly
Managing alumni social media channels with creative content, schedules, and campaigns to drive engagement
Acting as community manager for the alumni platform (Imperial Plexus), creating content, supporting users, and liaising with the platform provider
Collaborating with colleagues across Advancement to promote alumni giving and engagement initiatives
Liaising with freelance writers, creative agencies, and suppliers on specific projects
Managing alumni merchandise stock and logistics for events and activities
Supporting the delivery of alumni volunteering, events, and other engagement programmes (some evening work required)
Ensuring compliance with GDPR and data protection regulations in all communications ALUMNI COMMS AND DIGITAL MARKETING COORDINATOR ESSENTIALS:
Having 18 months of experience in a digital marketing or communications role
Bringing experience within higher education is highly preferred
