Overview

Product Lead/Commercial Manager – High-Growth Digital Subscription Start-up. Partnered with a fast-growing digital subscription start-up on a mission to help people live stronger, healthier lives both mentally and physically. They launched in early 2024 but have already seen phenomenal growth — scaling revenue, subscriber numbers, and app performance metrics to a market-leading position in record time.

Now we’re looking for a Commercial Manager/ product lead to help accelerate their next stage of growth. This is a role for someone who thrives in fast-paced, entrepreneurial environments, loves digital products, and knows what it takes to build and scale subscription businesses. You would think of yourself as a founding member of the team and you straddle both digital product and commercial growth focus. Great for someone who has started their own business but couldn't quite get traction or someone who loves being at the start of a digital subscription start-up.

If you love fitness, branding and data-driven product decisions, with a real need to have autonomy and work on one of the most recognizable and growing fitness apps across the US and scaling then this one is for you.

What you’ll do

  • Own and drive commercial performance across the business - improving conversion through the funnel, boosting engagement and retention, and delivering against ambitious financial targets.
  • Build out user acquisition strategies across content marketing, partnerships, email, social, paid ads, and funnel optimisation.
  • Shape and manage key partnerships with creators, experts, and collaborators to grow brand reach and relevance.
  • Help pitch the business to potential partners, experts, and investors.
  • Launch new revenue streams and business models to diversify growth.
  • Generate insights and analysis to inform commercial decision-making and tactical optimisations.
  • Manage customer touchpoints (website, app stores) to improve conversion and customer experience.
  • Support the development of a strong brand strategy and translate it into action across all business touchpoints.
  • Work closely with the product team, giving input on digital product strategy to align with commercial goals.

What we’re looking for

  • Experience as a Commercial Manager, Business Lead, Founding commercial product manager or Co-Founder in a digital subscription business (fitness, wellness, consumer tech, learning, paid community, or similar).
  • You must have experience helping to start a digital business in some manner.
  • A strong understanding of subscription metrics and what levers drive growth.
  • Someone equally comfortable setting strategy and rolling up their sleeves to execute.
  • Highly commercial, data-driven, and instinctively entrepreneurial.
  • A natural relationship-builder who can win over partners, creators, and collaborators.
  • Up to date on digital, social, and creator economy trends, with an intuitive feel for what resonates with Gen-Z and Millennial audiences.
