This is a pivotal role with a strategic remit to shape and scale our marketing vision in the UK, positioning Employment Hero as the category-defining Employment Operating System. You'll build and lead a high-performing team, setting a clear strategy while driving measurable growth through world-class demand generation, product marketing, and brand innovation. We're seeking a hands-on, commercially minded leader with a proven track record of scaling marketing functions in high-growth tech businesses — ideally challenger brands, fintechs, PLG or marketplace-led companies — who can set direction at board level while remaining deeply connected to execution.Key responsibilitiesDefining and executing the UK marketing strategy to establish Employment Hero as the category leader for the Employment Operating SystemBuilding a high-impact marketing organisation, attracting and developing exceptional talent while fostering a culture of agility, data-driven decision-making, and innovationDriving measurable growth and market share expansion, with a strong focus on pipeline creation, demand generation, and customer acquisitionInfluencing company-wide strategy by representing the UK market voice and contributing marketing insights to Executive and Leadership Team decision-makingOwning the UK marketing strategy end-to-end, ensuring clear positioning, pipeline growth, and market penetration aligned to EH's global prioritiesSetting vision and direction for high-performing, cross-functional squads while empowering teams to execute at paceBuilding and scaling repeatable growth engines, leveraging data, AI, and market insights to drive measurable revenue impactActing as a strategic advisor to the UK MD, Global GM Marketing, and Executive Leadership Team, influencing company-wide decisions with marketing insightDriving innovation across brand, product marketing, and demand generation to differentiate EH in a competitive marketOrchestrating integrated campaigns and GTM motions, ensuring consistency and ROI across channels (PR, content, performance, SEO, CRM, events)Championing the voice of the customer at an executive level, translating customer insights into actionable strategies for product, sales, and partnershipsWho you areTo thrive at Employment Hero, you'll need to embody The EH Way - operating with focus, agility, and an obsession with impact. For this role, you'll also bring:9+ years in high-velocity marketing, with 5+ years in senior leadership rolesProven success scaling marketing functions in fast-paced, growth-stage tech challenger brands, fintech, PLG, or marketplace businessesExpertise in earned media, brand, performance, GEO/SEO, CRM, CRO, and campaign executionAdvanced analytical and commercial acumen; highly data-driven approachStrong proficiency in marketing and analytics tools such as Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Meta Ads Manager, Salesforce, Braze, and MarketoAn AI-first mindset, leveraging AI to optimise operations and customer propositionsResilience, adaptability, and the ability to thrive in a fast-moving, global scale-up environmentWhat we can offerAt Employment Hero, we don't just talk about a better way to work - we live it.
