The Role We are looking for a Social Media Manager who is a disruptor at heart — someone who thrives on breaking rules, pushing creative boundaries, and driving measurable results fast . You will be obsessed with TikTok, Instagram, and emerging social platforms — not just to post content, but to hack growth, build viral momentum, and deliver immediate commercial impact .
This isn’t just a scheduling role. This is about owning DXB’s cultural voice online , creating noise that converts into community, footfall, and sales.
What You’ll Do
1. Aggressive Growth & Disruption Build and execute bold, trend-led strategies that make DXB the most talked-about perfume brand online. Drive explosive growth in followers, engagement, and reach — with clear weekly KPIs . React at speed to cultural moments, trending sounds, and viral opportunities. Use social listening + competitor monitoring to ensure DXB leads, not follows.
2. Content & Community Domination Create viral-first content (short-form video, collabs, social stunts) that gets people talking. Manage a constant drumbeat of posts, stories, and lives , ensuring DXB always has share of voice. Build a loyal community — not just followers, but fans who engage, buy, and advocate. Act as the voice of DXB Perfume across all social touchpoints.
3. Influencer & Creator Partnerships Identify and lock in cutting-edge creators before competitors do. Manage influencer campaigns that deliver real ROI , not vanity metrics. Drive creator-led product launches, collaborations, and stunts that cut through noise. Build an influencer ecosystem that makes DXB the fragrance brand influencers want to work with .
4. Commercial Accountability Align social campaigns with sales, launches, and retail activations. Track and report on weekly KPIs (follower growth, engagement, reach, traffic, conversions). Test and optimise constantly — if it doesn’t work, pivot fast. Deliver quantifiable impact on awareness and revenue.
What We’re Looking For A natural disruptor — bold, fearless, and obsessed with making noise. 3+ years in social media/influencer marketing , ideally in beauty, fragrance, or lifestyle brands. Proven track record of viral content and rapid social growth (show us your wins). Deep knowledge of TikTok & Instagram mechanics — algorithms, trends, hacks. Experience negotiating and running high-impact influencer campaigns . Creative, fast, and resourceful — can make something out of nothing. Data-driven: you know how to prove ROI from social . Thrives in a high-pressure, high-speed, scale-up environment .
