Overview

We’re looking for a Social Growth & Marketing Lead to join a fast-growing creative studio making original digital-first content across video and podcasts. This role is all about driving reach, engagement, and growth across YouTube and social platforms, perfect for someone who lives and breathes the mechanics of going viral.

You’ll be part of the growth and social marketing team, with the opportunity to lead strategy from day one and potentially manage a junior team. The right person will bring experience from a startup, digital publisher, or influencer-led brand, and will be obsessed with how to capture attention online.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute growth strategies for YouTube and social platforms.
• Use platform insights and audience data to optimise content for reach and engagement.
• Experiment with formats, thumbnails, metadata, and publishing tactics to maximise performance.
• Collaborate with creative teams to ensure content is packaged and positioned for virality.
• Manage and mentor junior team members, fostering a growth-focused culture.
• Stay across trends, algorithms, and “what’s working” in digital growth.
• Provide regular performance updates and growth recommendations to leadership.

What Were Looking For

• Around 5 years’ experience in social growth, digital marketing, or content strategy.
• Background in eCommerce, influencer marketing, or digital-first startups.
• Proven track record of scaling audiences on YouTube and social media.
• Deep understanding of platform optimisation - the “dark arts” of thumbnails, titles, tags, and algorithms.
• Leadership potential with experience managing or mentoring others.
• Analytical mindset with creative instincts, able to interpret data and spot opportunities for virality.
• A proactive, hands-on approach and a hunger to grow something big.
