Meet Our Life Science Vertical
Vicon’s pioneering motion capture technologies push the traditional definition of the term and enable the capture and analysis of all kinds of motion, whatever the modality: optical, markerless, inertial, VR, and beyond. Vicon is currently working with a large range of global clients in the life science industry, including Adidas, Australian Institute of Sport, Guy’s and St Thomas Hospital, Loughborough University, MIT, Nuffield Orthopedic Centre, Shriners Hospitals, The Defense and National Rehabilitation Centre, Victoria University and many more.
We have offices in Oxford, Denver and Los Angeles, this role is open to applicants to be employed from any of these offices.
Role Overview for the Product Marketing Manager
As our Senior Product Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for the positioning, storytelling, overall go-to-market, competitive intelligence, and growth of your vertical.
Our Product Marketing team is a high-impact, high-visibility team and this role requires a strong PMM who can lead strategic projects and measure their impact effectively.
The Senior PMM role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to build the foundations and own the end-to-end execution of a successful Product Marketing function for this vertical. You will create the buyer personas, craft positioning and messaging, lead content development and sales enablement, and track results to ensure a significant impact on our business.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the go-to-market (GTM) strategy and execution to drive measurable commercial growth for your vertical.
- Develop and own the positioning and messaging of our Life Sciences vertical, collaborating with Marketing, Product and Sales to bring the messaging to life.
- Collaborate with teams to create compelling sales and marketing collateral and internal/external communications to drive adoption and growth.
- Identify success metrics and measure the results of your strategies and initiatives to continuously iterate and maximize results.
- Conduct customer and market analysis to obtain an understanding of the competitive landscape and help establish product differentiators.
- Create marketing programs (e.g., sales documentation, product videos, website copy, blog posts, white paper, etc.) that articulate the benefits of the product and/or features.
Required Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- 2-4 years of product marketing experience in B2B SaaS, with a strong understanding of the entire product marketing function.
- Strong analytical, execution and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communicator, both written and verbal.
- A result-driven powerhouse. We’re all about getting things done, and we need your help to build a vertical that is focused on outcomes and not inputs.
- Able to work independently and effectively within a fluid environment by systematic and organized work.
- High energy and contagious enthusiasm
- Familiarity with the Life Science sector (specifically biomechanics / sports science / gait analysis / sports vision) is an advantage.
