Overview
As we continue our mission to make people and nature happy through chocolate, we’re looking for a Senior Marketing Manager (Campaigns and Product Marketing) to join our Marketing team on a full-time (40 hours, flexible 32–40 considered) basis.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for driving our full marketing campaign plan — from concept to delivery — across multiple channels and global markets. You’ll also lead the Product Marketing function, ensuring our new and existing product ranges are positioned, launched, and marketed with maximum impact. This is a high-profile role with responsibility for shaping campaign strategies, managing creative development, setting budgets, and leading a talented team, all while keeping the customer at the heart of every decision.
Here at Hotel Chocolat, we have adopted hybrid working. This means you’ll join us on site for three days a week, and for the other two days – you can work from wherever you like. The on-site location for this role is our support office, Mint House, in Royston, Hertfordshire. Our home from the very beginning, it’s just off the A505 and 10 minutes’ walk from Royston train station, with direct rail links to London King’s Cross.
What you’ll be doing
- Lead, deliver and optimise the annual marketing plan, including campaigns, promotions, product launches, and always-on content.
- Develop global campaign creative and toolkits, ensuring alignment across markets and channels.
- Manage budgets, timelines, and critical paths, working closely with internal design teams and external creative agencies.
- Lead governance processes, identifying risks, opportunities, and adjustments where needed.
- Implement a test-and-learn approach, using insights to continuously improve campaign performance.
- Deliver through-the-line paid media campaigns in partnership with internal and external teams.
- Partner with wholesale marketing teams to maximise ROI and brand consistency.
- Lead, inspire, and develop a high-performing team, supporting their goals and growth.
Who you are
A commercially savvy marketing leader with a passion for creativity, customer experience, and driving results. You’ll be confident developing and executing integrated campaigns, skilled in managing stakeholders and agencies, and experienced in leading teams to success.
- Experience leading the customer/marketing annual planning cycle, creating plans aligned to commercial targets.
- Proven track record in multi-channel campaign management (offline and digital).
- Hands-on experience with ATL campaign management (TV, radio, OOH, print, digital).
- Excellent creative judgement and ability to brief/develop TTL campaigns across touchpoints.
- Strong communication and influencing skills with commercial acumen.
- Experience managing and developing high-performing teams (3+).
- Skilled at coordinating execution across multiple marketing channels.
- Experience managing external creative agencies.
- Background in new product/proposition launches or change project delivery.
