If you're inquisitive and bored of overly corporate marketing (like we are), why not take the reins and do it your way?The roleReporting directly to the Managing Director, you will spearhead the development and implementation of marketing strategies — including digital, content, and event marketing — to increase brand awareness and support the business development (BD) efforts of our sales consultants.This role covers strategic planning, brand management, content creation, social media, market analysis, and performance metrics. Overseeing a small but talented team, you’ll also be part of the company’s wider management team. You’ll work closely with divisional leadership to ensure alignment with business goals, and help foster a positive, inclusive culture through internal communications and employer brand initiatives.If you're a creative and innovative marketing professional with a passion for driving results, we want to hear from you.You’ll be in charge of:Strategy development: Creating and implementing a comprehensive marketing strategy for the overall business, supporting each team individually.Brand management: Ensuring consistent messaging and branding across all channels and touchpoints, aligning with our positioning for top leaders, fostering creativity to strengthen and enhance brand identity.Content creation & thought leadership: Overseeing the creation of engaging and insightful thought leadership content (blog posts, podcast episodes) about leadership and talent trends — showcasing our deep expertise and global networks.Social media: Managing our presence on LinkedIn and other platforms to increase engagement and build brand awareness.Market analysis: Conducting market research and competitor analysis to ensure we’re positioned to succeed.Performance metrics and data: monitor marketing performance metrics, adjusting strategies as needed to improve effectivenessOnline presence: Managing our existing website and leading the creation of a new, fully SEO-optimised site (a 2025 priority).Event management: Coordinating the company’s presence at key industry events — from booth design to promotional materials and communications.Brand partnerships: Managing relationships with premium consumer and professional services brands we partner with.Management & leadership: Working closely with the Managing Director and company leadership to ensure all marketing efforts align with our wider strategy.Collaboration: Working closely with the sales and research teams to ensure strategic alignment, providing essential support for driving business growth. This includes sharing insights, coordinating efforts, and contributing to the development of initiatives that enhance team performance and achieve organisational goals. Additionally, utilising our CRM system to track progress, manage customer relationships, and optimise sales effortsDevelop and execute internal communication strategies to ensure alignment across teams, including regular updates on marketing initiatives, project milestones, and key company goalsCampaign delivery: Leading the development and execution of campaigns for our key audiences, including the Venari Partners Challenge, our external CSR initiative.Account-Based Marketing: Developing and executing personalised nurture programmes to grow relationships with existing clients and expand our Venari Important Partners.Budget responsibility: Full ownership of the marketing budget, ensuring it is effectively invested in the right areas.This role will suit a Marketing Manager looking to step up into a more senior position. It’s a mix of strategic development and hands-on creative delivery.We’re looking for someone who has:Relevant hands-on marketing experience, ideally within a reputable, fast-growing SMEAlignment with our mission and tone of voice, and experience working with senior audiences — ideally in a professional services environment (consulting, banking, law, etc.)Creativity and innovation in developing marketing strategies that challenge the normExpertise in digital marketing (SEO/SEM, email, social, content marketing)Strong analytical skills and experience using data and market research to inform decisionsExperience creating and editing content across graphic, video, and audio formats — Adobe Suite proficiency is essentialExcellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a teamA proactive and resourceful mindset — you’ll thrive in a fast-paced environment and take ownership to drive resultsWhat you’ll get in returnFull ownership of the marketing strategy — from planning to executionHybrid working, with Thursday as our core office day (leadership team members are expected in our Shoreditch office at least 3 days a week)Benefits include unlimited holiday, salary sacrifice pension, fitness and wellbeing memberships, private medical, cycle-to-work scheme, and Help to Buy
