Join us as a Senior Marketing Manager and you’ll be a big part of this.What's the job?Lead a creative team of designers, copywriters, and production specialists to deliver standout work efficiently and effectively—adapting to a fast-paced retail environment and meeting deadlines.Support the Director of Marketing and Marketing Leadership Team in shaping the business’s creative direction.Oversee creative output across ideation, design, and copywriting—motivating the team to push boundaries and elevate our communications.Drive best-in-class processes and production efficiency, with a “quality over quantity” mindset focused on impact for customers and stakeholders.Represent Creative Services—attend briefings, present work, and build strong relationships across Customer & Marketing and E-Commerce for collaborative development.Be hands-on in creative and production projects, using expertise to deliver high-quality work that inspires.Review and challenge briefs with the Studio Operations Manager, ensuring clarity and strength to enable the best creative outcomes.Collaborate with Customer Planning and Campaigns & Advertising to develop clear creative direction packs, evolving processes to meet channel needs.Build relationships with external creative partners to enhance internal capabilities and ensure smooth agency-to-in-house transitions.Grow freelance resource with the Studio Operations Manager, maintaining a strong, cost-effective talent pool.Stay connected to industry trends, including tech and AI, to keep creative output relevant and future-focused.Engage stakeholders to assess creative effectiveness and drive continuous improvement.What we need:Extensive creative leadership experience across in-house and agency teams, covering both inception and adaptation. Strong understanding of effective retail communications in physical and digital environments.Creative professional with excellent project management skills and ability to prioritise.Agency management experience.Skilled in interpreting, interrogating, and challenging stakeholder briefs.Strong presentational, interpersonal, and time management skills.Experience in photoshoot art direction.Knowledge of artwork building, repro, and print processes.Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and other creative software.What's in it for me?As part of a great team, you’ll be valued for who you are.We’re committed to making B&Q more diverse and representative of the communities we serve, where everyone can feel they belong and have equal opportunities.
