About the role:

We are recruiting a Senior Marketing Manager to join our events team, contributing to our growth by planning and executing marketing activities.

We seek a commercially astute and tenacious Senior Marketing Manager with a proven track record in marketing B2B conferences and events, ideally with experience in marketing automation and digital marketing. The candidate should thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a passion for marketing. A good understanding of climate change policy and sustainability is advantageous.

The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of professional experience, including significant experience in a senior B2B event marketing role within a commercial conference or exhibition company. This includes managing a team and developing, executing, and managing marketing strategies and campaigns.

Minimum requirements include:

• 10+ years of professional experience, with at least 5 years in a senior B2B event marketing role within a conference or exhibition company.
• Comprehensive (360) event marketing capabilities.
• Experience managing digital campaigns, email marketing, lead and demand generation, marketing automation, social media strategies, database management, performance reporting, content creation, and PR strategies.
• Ability to support and develop junior team members through training and KPIs.

The successful applicant will possess:

• 5+ years specifically in a B2B event marketing role within a conference or exhibition company.
• A passion for sustainability and environmental issues.
• Strong digital marketing skills and understanding of content marketing.
• Creativity in maximizing small marketing budgets.
• Knowledge of social media channels (especially X and LinkedIn) and digital tools like TweetDeck, Google Analytics, Adwords.
• Experience with marketing automation and a desire to demonstrate its commercial results.
• An agile approach to review and adjust plans for optimal results.
• Excellent project management, organization, stakeholder management, and initiative skills.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Enthusiasm for conceptualizing and growing marketing strategies.
• Confident communication and influencing skills, especially for securing agreements globally.
