Senior Manager - Marketing & Business Development role at SEHA - Abu Dhabi Health Services Co.

Responsibilities

  • Implementing, in coordination with Senior Officer, the marketing plans and proposals for deferent groups
  • Implementing promotional plans for facility staff / customers to guarantee a steady stream of customers especially during off peak periods
  • Allocating and controlling marketing budget across internal and external sponsorship, profiling and advertising costs
  • Reviewing and approving subordinate budget inquiries when required
  • Implementing the marketing and communication strategy to meet academic and clinical objectives; implementing the advertising and media plan
  • Maintains compliance with organization's policies, as well as established practices, protocols, and procedures of the position, department, and applicable professional standards
  • Maintains knowledge of marketplace issues, industry trends, competitive information, customer expectations, public policy and other market drivers needed to attract the customers and increase revenue
  • Researches markets and creates strategies for expanding in the company’s current markets and for finding new ones
  • Maintains in-depth knowledge of capacity requirements and value propositions of services offered within the organization
  • Represents SEHA as a brand ambassador locally and internationally, promoting access to services and building new strategic revenue streams
  • Drives changes in current processes to improve program implementation and awareness effectiveness
  • Promotes and builds medical tourism activities for the healthcare facilities while designing processes that increase demand and patient satisfaction
  • Continuously evaluates revenue performance and identifies ways to expand and grow revenue
  • Researches leads, establishing relationships with potential clients and coordinating with related departments
  • Coordinates, motivates and follows up with stakeholders and resources to ensure projects progress on schedule
  • Identifies, assesses and resolves complex business problems and facilitates risk mitigation
  • Defines and documents business proposals with target dates and revenue predictions
  • Liaises with content experts, marketing, and operations on program and proposal development
  • Develops business models and project budgets to meet revenue targets
  • Develops and manages timelines of multiple projects from planning to post-implementation monitoring
  • Prepares project information for review and approvals with senior management
  • Attends business planning board approval meetings
  • Defines deliverables, resource requirements and work plans for projects
  • Provides analytical and project-related support, including RFP preparation
  • Develops content for presentations for pitches and new business opportunities
  • Reviews quotes and proposals in contracting processes
  • Maintains accurate information about business development opportunities in internal databases
  • Supports development of resources and mentors staff on best practices
  • Overviews Revenue Development Teams to achieve role targets
  • Travel as needed to support initiatives
  • Plans and oversees seminars, events, and targeted marketing activities
  • Identifies market needs through market research to understand customer needs
  • Oversees production of marketing collateral and communication material
  • Coordinates promotional programs, conventions and meetings
  • Ensures events are well attended and organized
  • Implements brand positioning and forecasting
  • Keeps up-to-date with competitor information to maintain competitive edge
  • Coordinates communication programs and brand messaging to UAE audiences
  • Manages marketing projects and acts as project manager when required
  • Manages production of promotional items and gifts
  • Drives annual calendar of marketing and promotional events
  • Develops ideas for articles, interviews, and PR activities to promote awareness
  • Represents facility to press and public where required
  • Identifies and establishes community engagement programs in the UAE and key international markets
  • Develops corporate communications within the UAE (events, brochures, website, etc.)
  • Develops and monitors promotional materials and core external web pages
  • Directs administration of the marketing department and services
  • Monitors and evaluates service delivery efficiency and identifies improvement opportunities
  • Delegates and supervises marketing work, sets priorities and evaluates subordinates
  • Recommends training to address deficiencies
  • Interprets policy related to marketing/branding

Qualifications

  • Required: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Marketing, Business Management, Healthcare Management or relevant field OR Diploma in relevant field with 3 years of additional experience
  • Desired: Master’s degree or equivalent in Marketing, Business Management, Healthcare Management or relevant field
  • Experience: Required – 10-12 years of relevant progressive experience in a similar role with 3 years of supervisory experience; Desired – experience in a large healthcare facility
