The role of the Global Customer Marketing team is to connect Reddit’s 100,000+ communities to businesses globally. We are passionate about helping businesses understand the power of Reddit and how it helps them achieve their objectives.

Our international business marketing team is growing, and we’re seeking a Senior Lead, Business Marketing, responsible for servicing our agency marketing across EMEA. This role will report directly to our Head of Business Marketing for International and will support our efforts to scale our presence in the UK, Germany.

This role is dedicated to supporting the EMEA agency development team, who are responsible for driving our holding company partnerships outside of the US. This role will be dedicated to building awareness of Reddit for Business to multiple teams across the six holding companies and developing integrated campaigns that grow share of wallet and uplevel relationships within the business. You’ll work hand in hand with the EMEA Agency Development & Global Holding company leads, as well as partner with your marketing peers on the international and US team.

The successful candidate will help drive exposure of Reddit to holding companies, via partnerships and owned campaigns that help position Reddit as a top-tier strategic partner to agencies. You will own content development and local go-to-market strategy for Reddit for Business. Excellent communication, project management skills, and the ability to build long-term partnerships that help us scale and drive impact are critical to success in this position. The candidate’s experience should demonstrate the ability to work with cross-functional teams locally and in different regions globally.

This role is required to be based out of our London, UK office.

Responsibilities

• Strategy: In line with the global agency vision, work with your EMEA agency development team to strategise an annual marketing plan tailored for holding companies, persuading agency decision makers that Reddit should be an integral part of the mix and positions us as a top tier strategic partner.
• Audience: Understand the holding company landscape and the clients they represent, and build peer-to-peer relationships with marketing leads across agencies that help increase our awareness externally across their teams.
• Educate: In partnership with the EMEA agency, develop an education at scale (EAS) programme that drives awareness of Reddit for Business and great share of wallet for media spend, such as: agency takeovers, vertical immersions, Reddit AF trainings, and executive upfronts.
• Events: Develop and manage a calendar of priority agency events, ensuring Reddit has a strong presence at key industry moments (e.g., NextM, WPP Stream, Mindshare Huddle) and our own flagship forums for agency leaders (e.g., Reddit Retreat, CEO Overnight Summit). Leverage peer-to-peer and sales relationships to maximise impact, and own the end-to-end strategy and activation of these events.
• Industry: Craft customer engagement moments within key industry events that help grow external awareness of Reddit in the UK & Germany, and allows for customer nurturing.
• DME: In partnership with agency dev, develop and build a decision maker engagement programme designed for hold-cos that helps us widen our relationship out of just social teams via a global agency council, peer2peer plan, and executive engagements.
• Global: Where applicable: be a part of larger core teams for global marketing moments and share ownership of localizing marketing big-rocks for local markets (EG: Cannes, CES). You will also be expected to own a share of cross-channel industry/O&O events across the international business marketing team (EH: OMR, Advertising Week).
• Insights: Be the voice of agency customer needs in our annual global messaging planning to ensure we’re developing globally relevant campaigns, or identifying international-specific needs and ensure they’re built into the annual roadmap. Own build or localize audience sales collateral that works for agency teams. Drive opportunities for co-authored research via peer-to-peer.
• Advocacy: As part of your annual strategy, develop a component that helps drive the voice of our customers in the market, helping create evangelize Reddit advocates on our behalf. EG: joint speaking ops, video testimonials, co-authored thought leadership
• XFN:
• US: Work with our US agency marketing to ensure we’re globally consistent and scaling from both teams.
• Comms: Work closely with the comms team to leverage GAD leadership & agency voices externally in the UK & Germany via press and partnerships. Ensuring comms are kept up to date with what campaigns you are working on and how they can be an extension of your marketing.
• LCS & MM: Work closely with your peers in international marketing to ensure we’re building agency campaigns with a goal of reaching brands and driving collaborations. Own any brand-specific agency activations:
• Sales: The EMEA agency team & LCS will be your primary stakeholders, so ensuring you have regular syncs with sales managers across GAD and are a regular voice in team meetings is a must.
• Impact: Work with the Head of International Marketing to identify and track your annual budget needs, spend, and impact measurement for your markets.
• Markets: This role will be based in London but will service UK & Germany so travel will be required for events outside of the UK and for planning with teams in Germany.
  
  

• 8+ years of senior B2B marketing experience within the tech, media, or advertising industries, with a proven ability to lead strategic marketing efforts at scale.
• Proficiency in digital advertising and tech platform business models, with a track record of developing campaigns that resonate with both agencies and advertisers.
• Deep understanding of European advertising market needs and norms; experience building or localizing regional strategies that work in local markets.
• Proficiency in tech platform business models and the mid-marketing audience is a bonus. Proven track record of delivering quantifiable business impact is a must.
• Growth mindset, and willingness to play both strategic and supportive roles with equal enthusiasm. We’re looking for a self-starter, versatile, proactive mindset.
• Adaptable nature; able to navigate a hyper-growth, startup environment; takes ownership, smart, strong communicator, and solid storytelling skills.
• Understands the importance of relationships and can build bridges and channel the hustler mindset; perfect is the enemy of good.
• Clear understanding of European ad markets, clients, agencies, and trade partners.
