About the jobThis position is needed to plan, promote, and execute online events like webinars and virtual conferences. You will manage event platforms, drive attendee engagement, and collaborate with sales and content teams to align messaging. Your goals include lead generation, increased brand visibility, and other event performance metrics including attendance, engagement, and conversion. ResponsibilitiesIn this role, you’ll:Develop virtual programmes Create customised programmes for target accountsDevelop, socialise, and execute the marketing strategy and plans for virtual events in line with marketing and sales priorities, as well as corporate initiatives.With a focus on ROI within target account sets; plan, coordinate, and execute all aspects of relevant activities. These may include: Top of funnel/awareness building tactics; Mid-funnel building tactics; Product awareness events.Delivering EMEA specific versions of programmes from other regions where relevantManage vendors, agencies, and contractors to execute on all aspects of the plan and strategy as requiredBe the voice and presence of our virtual events, from hosting sessions to engaging key stakeholders. Ensure every interaction reflects our mission, vision and values. Act as the face of the organisation, taking centre stage and shaping audience impressions and event outcomes.Align Sales and Marketing Ensure that marketing and sales departments are working togetherDevelop virtual events programs in partnership with the Campaigns, Performance Marketing, Product Marketing, EEP and SDR teams that result in revenue growthWork with the Campaigns team to ensure synergies in delivery and PMK/Other teams as relevant to ensure synergies in theming/messagingPartner with GTM teams and other Marketing team members to define the target account set, identifying key acquisition opportunities and building clear, joint execution plansWork with global teams where relevant to identify opportunities to jointly deliver or adapt regional execution as necessary to maximise potential ROI from virtual eventsActivate connected sales and marketing execution to maximise marketing spend to revenueManage business performance, drive new business growth and present results in regular meetingsBuild relationships Build trust with target accountsCreate clarity in relevant target account sets regarding Twilio strategy, solution and product relevance by designing and delivering virtual events that speak to particular pain points and challengesIn conjunction with the GTM org identify the best plan of action to maximise ROI and ensure all relevant stakeholders in the business are focused on prospect experienceMeasure programmes Evaluate the effectiveness of virtual eventsReport on virtual events performance metrics across the funnel and ensure all stakeholders are kept up to date on progress within the target account setsManage the virtual events marketing budget and report as relevant on ROI vs spendOptimise spend and activity delivery, adjusting tactics as necessary to ensure optimum prospect/customer experience and maximum ROI QualificationsTwilio values diverse experiences from all kinds of industries, and we encourage everyone who meets the required qualifications to apply. We are always looking for people who will bring something new to the table!Required:5-7 years experience in marketing and go-to-market strategy execution within the enterprise software/SaaS marketsExperienced in creating and delivering successful virtual events strategiesExperience in hosting events (virtual or physical) and/or public facing evangelismExcellent understanding of how to analyse and optimise conversion rates across the marketing and sales funnel.Proven B2B marketing experience in the EMEA region.Strong commercial acumen with the ability to work to ambitious commercial targets.Impeccable English written and verbal communications skillsProven ability to manage all aspects of marketing delivery.Ability to think strategically, coupled with the focus and discipline necessary to simultaneously execute on a wide variety of detailed tactics.Excellent organisational and project management skills.Motivated individual performer that values teamwork.Desired:Experience working idea for a US-headquartered company.Experience in both on and offline growth marketing techniques.Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
