Location and Attendance
Location: Haydock, St Helens
Attendance: Full‑time onsite at Haydock Industrial Park, with visits to our site in Cumbria, other events and the opportunity to work up to two days a week from home.
Job type: Permanent / Full time – either across four or five days.

Overview of the role
We are seeking a skilled and innovative Digital Marketing Executive to join our growing team. This is a new role, supporting continued growth across the business following Delkia winning Growing Business of the Year, BECBC 2024. This role focuses on crafting engaging content, managing social media platforms and telling our brand story across multiple channels. In addition, you will develop and commission supporting collateral for exhibitions and events, working across all aspects of marketing and communications. You will play a pivotal role in connecting with our audience, both internally and externally, while ensuring consistency in our brand messaging.
What you’ll be responsible for:
Campaign Creation – Create compelling campaigns to promote Delkia products and services to two key sectors, including digital marketing campaigns, high‑quality written content for blogs, newsletters, social media posts and press releases, and reporting on campaign success.
Internal and External Communications – Craft compelling brand stories and messages, support internal communications initiatives by creating newsletters, announcements and updates, manage external communications across platforms, monitor social media trends and engagement, responding promptly to comments and messages.
Website Development and Management – Work with the team to ensure the website reflects our latest news, events and campaigns; update our website and internal SharePoint sites, creating new pages and content as required.
Competitor Research – Learn about our core market sectors, conduct competitor research and work closely with our sales team to provide the marketing materials they need.
What you’ll bring:
Experience: Demonstrable experience in content creation, social media management or a similar role.
Writing Skills: Excellent written communication skills with a flair for storytelling and tailoring content for different audiences.
Social Media Expertise: Strong knowledge of social media platforms, trends and analytics tools.
Creativity: Passion for creating innovative and impactful content; ability to design and produce social media posts using tools such as Canva.
Organisation: Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
Attention to Detail: Strong proofreading and editing skills to ensure high‑quality content.
Tech‑Savviness: Familiarity with website content management systems (e.g. Wix) and basic graphic design tools is a plus.
Degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing or other relevant qualification(s).
Nice to have:
Membership of CIM or CIPR.
