Our portfolio includes authentic rice, dry snacks, frozen foods, spices, and groceries, catering to wholesalers, supermarkets, and restaurants across the UK. We are expanding our sales operations and are looking for a dynamic Sales Manager to lead our growth initiatives. Job Purpose To drive sales growth, expand market presence, and build long-term relationships with retailers, wholesalers, and distributors across the UK. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in ethnic food sales, preferably within the Indian or Kerala food sector, and a deep understanding of market dynamics and customer behaviour. Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve monthly and annual revenue targets. Identify and onboard new retail clients, supermarkets, and distributors. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers and key accounts. Analyse sales trends, competitor activities, and market opportunities. Collaborate with the marketing and logistics teams to ensure smooth product delivery and promotions. Provide input on pricing, packaging, and promotional strategies for Kerala/Indian food lines. Attend food trade shows, exhibitions, and promotional events to represent the brand. Prepare and present periodic sales reports to senior management. Ensure timely collection of payments and maintain good credit control practices.

Requirements Essential

Proven experience in sales and distribution within the ethnic or Indian food sector. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Strong client relationship management and territory development abilities. Experience in FMCG or food import/export. Valid UK driving licence and willingness to travel across regions.

Desirable

Knowledge of South Indian/Kerala products and regional market preferences. Proficiency in English, Malayalam, Tamil and Hindi (advantageous but not essential).
