The role is to supply security at a large Georgian detached house for an aged, titled lady, her family (while in residence) house guests and on duty staff members with a strong preference for ex services candidate.

On a rota of 2 weeks on and 2 weeks off,  7pm to 7am 4 days a week and 5pm to 7am 3 days a week. Provide the night cover while the other guard is on holiday which means occasionally doing a 4 week.

Service fee circa £2,900 per 2 weeks of duty plus any approved overtime, all on a freelance agreement basis.

 This involves and is not limited to static guarding …

To check that all gates and perimeter are locked and secure

To check that all windows and doors of the main residence are secure during the hours of darkness.

Set ADT Intruder Alarm at dusk and monitor both CCTV and ADT intruder and fire alarm, unset intruder alarm at sunrise

Report any ADT faults to PA ,book and liaise with ADT engineers during repairs

 In the event of either alarm being activated, the incident must be investigated and appropriate action taken and then logged and reported to PA

 Other duties

 Drive principal as and when required

 Dog walking and care/Chicken rounding up!

Ad hoc Residence duties - eg Deal with deliveries, be aware of and help with any arrival and or departure of principal from main residence
