Your work will have real purpose: helping address pensions inadequacy and boosting the financial wellbeing of our members, ensuring they have the knowledge and tools to plan ahead, and ultimately so they can retire better and with confidence.ResponsibilitiesCommissioning and delivering primary research across a variety of topics including UX, CX, brand, and proposition developmentLeveraging secondary market intelligence and collaborating with analytics and insight colleaguesGathering and analysing customer, market and competitor intelligence to identify trends and opportunitiesChampioning the customer voice and guiding stakeholders with insight-driven recommendationsManaging research budgets efficiently to maximise value and impactTranslating insights into compelling stories that influence strategic decisionsEmbedding segmentation into research to enhance relevance and depth of findingsSupporting Consumer Duty and ensuring good customer outcomes through compliant research practicesQualificationsProven experience in market and customer research, with strong storytelling skillsExpertise in both qualitative and quantitative research methodologiesAbility to translate insights for diverse audiences and stakeholder needsFinancial services experience, especially in pensions, investments or retirement sectorsStrong project management skills and experience commissioning researchConfidence in presenting and consulting, with a proactive and collaborative approachAbility to balance strategic and tactical thinking with commercial and customer needsExperience managing research budgets and delivering cost-effective outcomesPassionate about customers and getting to the heart of what motivates themOccasional travel to CardiffBenefitsThe opportunity to participate in our annual, performance-related bonus plan and valuable share schemesGenerous pension contributionLife assuranceHealthcare Plan (permanent employees only)At least 25 days holiday, plus public holidays, 26 days after 2 years’ service.
