Job Description:
Based in London, this full-time, permanent role at Tourism New Zealand involves leading consumer marketing for the UK and Europe region. The role focuses on driving commercial success by developing and executing a strategic marketing plan across owned, earned, and paid channels, including content, media, and PR. You will oversee insights and initiatives to identify market opportunities and accelerate growth, collaborating closely with the UK Trade team to ensure a coordinated market-focused strategy.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading a high-performing marketing team with a strategic focus on growth, conversion, and brand impact.
- Developing a results-driven marketing strategy leveraging content, media, and PR.
- Managing media and PR agencies and maintaining relationships within the media landscape.
- Driving stakeholder engagement and collaboration across cross-functional teams.
- Maximizing regional marketing expertise and allocating resources effectively to seize opportunities.
Requirements:
- Commercial expertise with a focus on driving conversion and growth through strategic agility and creative thinking.
- Senior marketing leadership experience, preferably within a global organization.
- Experience managing media and PR agencies and understanding the media landscape.
- Strong stakeholder management skills.
- Leadership experience and ability to foster collaboration across teams.
- Willingness to learn and embrace Te Ao Māori, including basic Tikanga and Te Reo Māori.
- Right to live and work in the UK and ability to travel internationally.
