OverviewAmazon's Legal Department is looking for a talented and motivated Program Manager to support Amazon Web Services (AWS). AWS provides IT infrastructure services such as on-demand compute capacity, storage, content delivery, database services, browsers and more. This role supports the AWS Sales and Marketing Legal team and works closely with legal team members and cross-functional business partners to manage and run projects of varying complexity and size.Key responsibilitiesSupport the legal team by creating and managing tools, educating and coaching legal colleagues on project management, and designing projects for global roll-out.See the big picture and incorporate problem solving, strategic thinking, and tactical execution with a focus on owning and improving the team’s systems and processes.Maintain a high level of professionalism, integrity, and discretion in handling confidential information; collaborate effectively with people at all levels.Be part of a global team of PMs within the Program Management Organization (PMO) and help raise the bar on project management across the Sales and Marketing Legal org by delivering high-impact projects efficiently.Collaborate with legal colleagues and PMO customers on projects of varying size through meetings, email, and instant messaging; work on projects with colleagues in other geos (e.g., EMEA and APJC) with flexibility.Contribute to a variety of projects such as process improvements, tool builds, creating reporting mechanisms, and drafting updates to internal websites.Ensure all stakeholders are informed on project deliverables, timelines, and pertinent information; use writing skills to share project updates, draft PRFAQs, and other documents as needed.QualificationsExperience working cross-functionally with tech and non-tech teamsExperience in program or project managementBachelor's degreeStrong verbal and written communication skills, and ability to clearly communicate across all levels of the organization and influence othersPMPExperience in analyzing data to drive decisionsExperience building processes, project management, and schedulesExperience using data and metrics to drive improvementsExperience in driving end-to-end delivery and communicating results to senior leadershipDemonstrated ability to deliver both strategic and tactical results from inception to completionAmazon is an equal opportunities employer.
