Job Scope
As Product Marketing Manager, you will work collaboratively with internal stakeholders such as the Product, Customer Success and Sales teams and externally with brands such as those named above and leading telco.
You will be working closely with the Identity Sales team throughout the sales lifecycle. This includes: creating/editing product and solution materials in PowerPoint, giving presentations to clients, responding to RFIs/RFPs, running batch tests through APIs and analyzing and interpreting the results, responding to architectural security questionnaires, and pricing analysis. You must be able to research and understand the client’s current user flow and ask relevant questions in order to recommend a solution design that will meet or exceed the client’s success metrics. In addition, you will perform relevant industry research to understand the local market trends and adjust the sales messaging and pricing as required.
Successful candidates often find this role prepares them well for advancement in account management, direct sales, or product management roles.
About you
As a successful Sales Support Manager, you will typically have the following attributes:
- General understanding of mobile operator authentication, billing, SMS, and account management systems and the corresponding data housed within.
- General understanding of techniques used by fraudsters during account origination and during account takeovers.
- Comfort with understanding how to incorporate APIs into a user flows.
- Strong listening skills.
- Strong Intelligence Quotient (IQ).
- Strong Emotional Quotient (EQ).
- Strong conversational presentation skills.
Required Qualifications
Required Qualifications for Sales Support Manager
- 2+ years working in the telecom or telecom-related industry or 2+ years working in an identity-related or fraud-prevention-related industry.
- Ability and willingness to travel internationally at a moment’s notice (this may change depending on what the world looks like post-pandemic). Normal is 5-10% travel, possible up to 25% during peak times.
- Expert business English. Other languages a plus.
- Proficient at PowerPoint.
