Hybrid working is the norm with time spent at client site, home as well as your local office.The ideal candidate will have experience in how procurement can influence and shape the approach to procuring all aspects of marketing services is essential. With experience in media, creative, digital and martech solutions highly desirable.Key Responsibilities:Identify and drive opportunities for improvement in clients’ procurement and operational performanceDevelop and propose category and project strategies that maximise value for clientsIdentify key market developments to increase Proxima’s corporate knowledge (IP) and share with other team membersGain stakeholder engagement at all appropriate levels and influence effectivelyProvide input into client’s scope of requirements and specification design, proposing best practice approaches to the marketInterpret market research, competitive information and personal knowledge and experience to develop high-quality procurement solutions and efficienciesEnsure effective supplier and stakeholder management throughout the projectDevise negotiation plans and manage negotiation process with client and supplier(s)Provide commercial input on contract terms and conditions with suppliersAgree on mobilization plans and manage activities with client and supplier(s) as requiredAbout You:Strong marketing procurement category knowledgeOperated in a client facing environmentKnowledge of indirect procurementChange management experienceSome experience of managing direct reports and virtual reports is idealStrong MS Excel, PowerPoint presentation and data analytical skillsExcellent planning, negotiation, and written & oral communication skillsDemonstrable experience selling to clientsProven customer service/client facing engagement skillsFlexibility to travel nationally as requiredWhy ProximaOur culture at Proxima is unique and is what makes us stand out.
