Procurement Category Manager – Marketing

Our client, an established and socially conscious financial services organisation, is looking for an experienced and innovative procurement leader to support the delivery of a new and innovative procurement strategy. You will help implement an organisation-wide procurement target operating model and drive best-in-class procurement and contract management across a portfolio of Marketing contracts.
You will use stakeholder management to work closely with existing suppliers to maximise potential, streamline services, and move towards a commercial and collaborative procurement function. You will apply analytical skills to identify opportunities and use stakeholder engagement to nurture effective, business-critical supplier relationships.
To be successful in this role, you will have experience leading procurement across a Marketing category, with extensive knowledge of customer content management and digital media. You must have a proven track record managing marketing suppliers and the technologies that support an effective marketing strategy. You should possess strong technical digital marketing knowledge and a history of delivering effective, commercial procurements in collaboration with marketing stakeholders to streamline processes and ensure value for money in line with the wider procurement strategy. Experience delivering change across Marketing Categories is essential; financial services experience is desirable but not essential.
