About your new rolePrimary objectivesProvide new business development support to Partners in the client services Insurance segment, to drive profitable growth and revenue in line with the firm's financial objectives.Assist Partners in converting key business development opportunities into revenue.Identify and develop opportunities for new work from prospects in existing sectors, new market sectors, or through cross-selling to existing clients.Support Partners with coaching on new business development and sales activities, and identify training needs.Key responsibilitiesExplore lead generation activities, evaluate opportunities, and advise on the most profitable options.Manage the new business pipeline with Partners to ensure targets are met and opportunities are converted into revenue.Target new clients through identification, research, prioritisation, and conversion.Support product teams with sector insights.Identify support and training needs to achieve client plans.Conduct quarterly reviews of plans to drive performance.Prepare client segment, sector, or regional business plans.Collaborate with segment heads and lead Partners to implement and manage new business initiatives such as:Identifying growth opportunities within sectors or regions.Monitoring the effectiveness of business development activities.Managing key accounts for the generator programme to meet new business objectives.Developing sales collateral to support pipeline opportunities and client engagement.Reviewing the New Business Dashboard to ensure MI is effective for growth.Supporting the Bid team with prospect and market knowledge for tenders and pitches.Developing external links with potential introducers, referrers, or clients.Working with Marketing to develop campaigns based on market insights.Sharing learnings from activities to enhance future efforts.Managing and developing the New Business Sales Executive.About YouKey skills & experienceExperience as a Business Development Manager or senior executive ready for the next step.At least five years in B2B insurance services, including professional services.Proven success in developing new business.Strong analytical skills.Commercially aware and strategic.Proactive, with initiative and solution-oriented mindset.Excellent project, time management, and organisational skills.Persuasive and influential, capable of engaging at senior levels without direct authority.Confident, resilient, and assertive.Excellent communication and presentation skills.Flexible to travel across offices and client sites as needed.If you meet these criteria and are eager to contribute, we look forward to your application.Why work for usJoin our award-winning organization.
