About the role: Marketing Performance Coach
This is an exciting opportunity to join our fast-growing Activate Business School & Activate Apprenticeships team and focus on developing marketing and communication capabilities across several different sectors. As a Marketing Performance Coach, you'll guide learners through their Apprenticeship and Commercial training programs, helping them achieve their qualifications and thrive in their careers. You'll manage a diverse caseload of learners and clients, delivering high-quality, tailored training that meets individual and business needs. This is a dynamic role that combines coaching, mentoring, quality assurance, and commercial engagement. You'll build strong relationships with learners, employers, and stakeholders, ensuring each learner develops the skills, knowledge, and behaviours needed to succeed. An important aspect of your coaching will be developing our learner's emotional intelligence, personal attributes and motivation which will be a key enabler to them achieving their short- and long-term career and educational goals and making a positive change for life.
This is a permanent, part-time role (FTE 0.43), working 16 hours per week. The position is remote-based, with national travel required.
Responsibilities
- Guide learners through Apprenticeship and Commercial training programs to help them achieve qualifications and develop career-ready skills.
- Manage a diverse caseload of learners and clients, delivering high-quality, tailored training that meets individual and business needs.
- Engage in coaching, mentoring, quality assurance, and commercial engagement to support learner outcomes.
- Build strong relationships with learners, employers, and stakeholders to support skills development and career progression.
- Support the development of learners’ emotional intelligence, personal attributes and motivation to help them achieve short- and long-term goals.
Requirements / Qualifications
- Experience in marketing and ideally experience in delivering marketing training.
- Experience across multiple marketing functions.
- Workshop facilitation and one-to-one/group coaching experience.
- GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths & English.
- IT literacy and strong administrative skills.
- Full clean driving license and willingness to travel.
- Flexibility to travel to other campuses as needed; adaptable with excellent organisational and interpersonal skills.
