We’re on a mission at Loqbox to build a world-class Marketing team that delivers exceptional outcomes for our members and drives business growth. We push creative boundaries, embrace fearless learning and relentlessly pursue marketing excellence.
As our new Marketing Operations Lead, you’ll be the strategic right hand to our Head of Marketing – a critical force in driving marketing excellence, team alignment and business performance. This is a pivotal role in the Loqbox Marketing team. It’s not just about keeping us on track, but about holding the bar high and making sure we rise to meet it.
We’re looking for a systems-thinker – someone commercially sharp, with deep marketing experience and the ability to handle complexity. Your mission is to build the rhythms and rigour that unlock performance and purpose: enabling creativity, insight and impact to thrive. You’ll uphold high standards, drive momentum and make sure we deliver on our mission, every time.
What you’ll do
- Fuel performance through structure: Design and refine processes, craft killer briefs and introduce rituals that help us operate with clarity and confidence. Create space for creative risk-taking while ensuring strong execution.
- Drive momentum and accountability: You lead with urgency and focus. You keep projects moving, hold yourself and others accountable and create a culture where delivery is expected and celebrated.
- Coach and develop your team: Manage the SEO Manager and CRM Manager, guiding their growth and supporting them to thrive.
- Own agency performance: Lead our performance marketing agency relationship where you’ll be responsible for aligning delivery, results and optimisations.
- Work commercially and analytically: Collaborate with our Data team and agencies to lead performance reporting and analysis. Track and report on key acquisition metrics, turn insights into action and share performance stories that drive better decisions.
- Optimise marketing budgets: Work with the Head of Marketing to build and manage marketing budgets. You’ll manage risk, forecast effectively and ensure we’re spending smart to maximise ROI and impact.
- Boost efficiency through innovation: Lead experimental growth initiatives and experiments to find new ways to drive growth, test fast and increase efficiency across the funnel.
- Turn curiosity into outcomes: Identify opportunities to improve how we work and what we deliver. Use data, insights and feedback to build better systems and challenge the team to raise the bar.
- Champion clarity, learning and growth: Lead documentation and training to increase shared understanding and autonomy. You’ll often ask questions like: What did we learn? What would make this better? How are we measuring success?
- Embed our values operationally: Make our company values real in how we work. Spark curiosity, demand clarity and encourage fearless problem-solving across the board to achieve more impact.
- Be a cultural leader: Be a force for progress, kindness and accountability. You’ll be someone others turn to, trust and are energised by.
About you
You’re an experienced operator with strong commercial acumen and deep marketing know-how. You thrive in complexity, connect strategy to execution and make others better around you.
- 6+ years in a senior marketing operations, performance marketing or delivery role in a fast-paced environment (in-house or agency)
- Strong commercial instincts – you’re fluent in budgets, forecasts, efficiency metrics and ROI trade-offs
- You think in systems and zoom in/out with ease – connecting dots across strategy, delivery and execution
- You’re a skilled facilitator and coach – great at unblocking issues, building buy-in and helping others do their best work
- Solid understanding of brand and performance marketing strategies, and how foundational they are to achieve business growth.
- Calm under pressure, proactive and relentlessly solutions-focused
- You ask smart, sharp questions: What’s the brief? What’s the goal? How will we measure it?
- Skilled in agile delivery, OKRs and workshop facilitation
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities and complex stakeholders
- Bonus points if you’ve worked with MMM or scaled a team during high-growth stages
- You must be based in or around Bristol – we work together in the office 1 day a week.
Good. You might be who we’re looking for.
Loqbox isn’t just another fintech. We're building a business that helps people live richer lives. But no mission gets delivered without operational brilliance and a strong backbone.
If you’re the kind of person who sees a challenge and runs toward it – not away – we’d love to hear from you.
