Job Title: Marketing Officer (12 month FTC)

Reporting to: Marketing Manager

Position Type: Fixed term contract, 35 hours per week

Hybrid: 3 days in the office 2 days working from home

Job Purpose
Support the Marketing Manager in the preparation and delivery of the UK marketing strategy, ensuring that all activity is consistent, current and appropriate and that any activity aligns with the TMHCC brand, vision and values.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with the Marketing Manager to implement annual marketing plans once agreed upon with business units.
• Work collaboratively with the Communications team to deliver marketing strategy.
• Be the main contact point for TMHCCI’s Marine, Energy and Renewables, Treaty Re and Property teams.
• Work closely with the Communications team to achieve marketing campaign goals via social and other communication channels.
• Organise and implement all UK events, in-person and virtual, ensuring that all activity is logged via internal platforms.
• Attend UK events in person, as required.
• Support the maintenance of the corporate guidelines and ensure all Marketing outputs are brand compliant.
• With guidance from the Marketing Manager, maintain the TMHCC International section of the Company website.
• Help to manage marketing supplier/agency relationships.
• Update business unit documentation and content, including BU sections on the corporate website.
• Work with the Marketing and Communications team to ensure that the intranet is updated with relevant marketing information.
• Support the Marketing Manager on all compliance and data protection regulations from GDPR, and Trademark License Agreements and ensure relevant forms are completed and renewed on a yearly basis.
• Work with the team assistant to ensure all merchandise is ordered in a timely fashion.

Essential — Skills and Experience

• 3 to 5 years’ experience working in a similar role
• Articulate with excellent written communication and presentation skills
• Events background
• Ability to deal with people at all levels
• Strong prioritisation skills and time management skills
• Good organisation skills
• Educated to at least A level standard (ideally in English) and with at least a GCSE (or equivalent) in English at grade A to B

Desirable

• Insurance background
• Experience with Sitecore and Sharepoint
• Relevant qualifications
